These rumours are not true i'm 99% sure. He probably is over-rated by some in my words. Plus we don't need to pay about 6 million for a defender when we are having problems paying for a RW and a striker even.

mexes is a good player and in this season he played very well...

From France where I am from, I can tell you Mexes is a great player.

With Boumsong when they were playing in Auxerre, thet were considered as the best couple of defenders in France.

I saw It was not easy for Boumsong in England but Mexes managed to reach the top level in Italia.

His qualities are : keeping the ball and bring it for attackers, very intelligent and physically on top.

For sure, he will take soon the place of Thuram :bowdown

He's seems a decent defender. He was at fault for the goal Crespo scored last night though!
