I dont know I think if he can score more and work on his defensive game a bit then we should keep him. I know Aurelio was great today but he is very injury prone.

I'm still very dodgy about his defensive play Bav, with the standards we have here we need someone who's accomplished who we can rely on week in week out. Doss is still too dodgy for me.

i think the lad can be more effective at left mid than left back.
he seems dodgy defensively but going forward he seems to be stronger.

Yeah I wouldn't mind that. He could be a good option instead of Riera. Obviously when on form Riera is great but both goals this week were pretty good finishes.

All of a sudden our full backs don't seem to bad do they.I always thought Dossena couldn't be as bad as his first 3 months after all he is first choice in his position for Italy.

I'm made up with Doss-heads couple of goals this week, but he still can't defend or cross the ball. He can continue playing the role of impact player between now and the end of the season, then we should cash in.

yep.. hope the couple of goals he scored add a million or so to what we can sell him for...
out in the summer lad, not good enough im afraid...

Aurelio is a brilliant leftback and if we can somehow manage to keep him fit then i've officially got no problems with our leftback spot anymore... insua as backup

This is the hardest league in the world to settle into. Aurelio wasnt so solid defensively either when he first arrived, but he's just had his best season for us and tore Robben and Ronaldo a new one in the same week.

Dossena has had a shocking start, lacked confidence, but he will come good.

Simply put we don't need three left backs. Insua is the future, Aurelio is in amazing form so far in 09 which leaves Dossena all out of luck.

I will say though he has looked much better as a left winger than left back. Better than Riera lately.

Excellent finish from Dossena, I thought he might have come on for Lucas, but for a change a substitution by Rafa made sense. Wonder if his new found zest for scoring will keep him here beyond the summer

every time i see his goal it looks better and better, it really was an excellent finish. if that had been torres then i reckon that us lot on here and most of the football press would be creaming themselves for weeks. made up for the lad. lets keep and eye on him for the rest of the season - if he looks like a decent back up at left mid then maybe he's worth having in the squad because he'll never make a good premiership fullback in a million years
