Harsh that lad , considering Javier looked like he gave a t.oss , i thought he was the only one in a red shirt tonight to be honest.

I'll grant you that Nan...but the point was , what the fook was Johnson doing on the bench, and what was masch doing at right back ? absolutely STUPID idea again from Benitez.....this is the crucial part of the season - if johnson is fit, he has to play, end of. there are no more games to fook around with...

He clearly wasn't fit though mate, in fact within 10 minutes you could see that the best place for the lad was the bench.

What do you want mate? For us to sack Rafa now? Surely there is a potential for that to have a more harmful than good effect? Who would we get in? Would it be fair to even put something like this on Kenny?

He deserves till the end of the season to get 4th place. He has earned that much at least surely.

Bav he aint going to get 4th place and even if by some miracle he scrapes it, its still not good enough and the football we have been playing has been shocking

At what point do you start blaming the manager? The same core of players do not become sh!t over night. Wake up and smell the coffee, forget getting the yanks out get the benign tumour turning cancerous (rafa in case you still can't see)

That's a bit harsh on Rafa. Sure he has to take his fair share of blame for how things have turned out this season but the owners need to take their share of blame too.

And anyway if things don't improve off the pitch then it doesn't matter what manager comes in (assuming of course we part ways with Rafa in the summer or sooner) because we still won't be able to attract/afford the top personel we need.

Tell you what, if we get a new manager in the summer, no extra funding yet start playing brilliant football, will you admit you were wrong about Rafa?  :D

Oh yeh Rafa told them all out there tonight not to give a t.oss, he told them dont tackle, he said when you get the ball make sure you pass to one of there players, you had players on that pitch tonight Especialy our captain who walked around like he was fuc.king Jesus, Im not sayin Rafa should not shoulder some of the blame , but if you were watching the same game as i was surly you could see they couldnt give a t.oss , Id feel a fecking ashamed of meself picking up me wages , knowing id cheated the fans

Yes but why don't they care Nanny that is the question, they have been like this all season in my opinion. Why do they suddenly not care when they nearly one the league last season. That surely has to be down to Rafa doesn't it?
Anyway the question was at what point do you say enough is enough or will you always back Rafa no matter what he does?

Knowing a defeat would heap more pressure on Rafa. And the players showing public support towards him with their comments. Wouldnt you think that, for the manager they respect and enjoy playing for, they would put in the effort? Or was that them actually putting in the effort and showing that the players in the team are just not good enough?
Bill Shankly: “I was the best manager in Britain because I was never devious or cheated anyone. I’d break my wife’s legs if I played against her, but I’d never cheat her.”

I agree but City have a tough run in too. We are only a point behind them so all it takes is for City to lose one and draw another and we are back in the mix if we win our next game.

I don't fully buy into the 'plyers don't care' argument, I deffo think Wigan were more up for it tonight BUT our lot were losing their composure, telling the ref to Fook off, committing stupid fouls and doing all the stuff that you sometimes get from a big side when they're not playing well, I saw a lot of very frustrated players who don't know what the fook has gone wrong. It's easy to say the players don't care if week in week out we're seeing lads pull out of tackles, see us not contesting 2nd balls, middies failing to track back etc, I don't really see that, our problems kick in when WE HAVE THE BALL and that's got fook all to do with CARING and everything to do with COACHING and TEAM SELECTION.

Oh teeheehee, aren't you the witty b@stard. Come on Bav you can do better than that my friend.

Are you seriously saying that even if a new manager comes in and we play much much better you will still be defending Rafa and saying he's the greatest, that's just bloody stupid.

Nanny, have you ever met Rafa, ever had a chat with him? If the answer is No then how the hell do you know how he feels about Liverpool or the fans. I actually suspect you are right but are you basing your entire view of Rafa on a magazine interview???

for me too many people are quick to praise the players when we win but jump on the manager when we lose, the team that started tonight if they could of been ar$ed was easily good enough to beat wigan. ive never seen so many misplaced passes, the players let us all down tonight, manager and fans.

they need to wake up and start getting stuck in because they play for us not the manager.

I totally agree, for once I agreed with Rafa's team selection. Look shock horror me praising Rafa. I guess I'm still a wum, clown etc etc though.  :D

The problems are much much deeper than team selection, the players just don't trust or believe in Rafa any more and in that case irrespective of how good or bad the manager is he has to go.
