Funny that since he is playing down the right yet every one is so sure he is just a waste of space hate to say told ya so.

ok one decent performance in 18 months. consider me told  :sleep

2 ! 10 mins other night was great as well he is doing best with what time he has had and isn't that what every one was bitching about just admit it you like to single out players of ya own team to abuse to make ya self feel better you little nerd.

the only player I've mouthed off about on this forum is Lucas and Babel

as I've just edited into my post above

I want Babel to do well here and he was good today. He has the potential (we all know that). But he has a SH!TLOAD to do here before he'll be an automatic starter IMO

A labored win because of our sloppy defending... but a very good away win nonetheless. I must admit Lucas is improving. He had a good game today. So did Mascherano. Torres is back scoring and was by far MOTM. It's amazing his skill set variety. Babel had a good assist for Torres' winner but he still looks unconvincing for me. Glen Johnson seem to have more ball control and skill than Babel it's amazing. Unlike some others one good assist doesn't make him a regular starter for me. Kuyt is still better at the right. Very worrying for our defence... it seems like this season all of a sudden Carra and Skrtl are alergic to one another... I do hope Agger comes back soon. Carra might need a rest which will do him good.

I'm not saying he's awful or he doesn't have the potential.

What I am saying is that he has LOADS left to prove at this club

Fantastic to see Torres and Masch bounce back and put in spirited, quality performances.  Yossi was a handful, Kuyt played his part, Lucas weren't bad, Gerrard pulled the strings and the fullbacks got up and down well.  The only real drawback was our CBs in the first half.  Carra had an absolute mare and Skrtel wasn't much better.  Thankfully, they pulled it together in the second half but that was helped by the fact that, as a team, we were playing a more measured build-up style of play.  The West Ham little and large combination gave us all that we could handle and then some at the back but we know that both Carra and Skrtel are capable of far more composure than they showed today.  Let's hope this doesn't become a pattern, as S@int's alluded to.

He will come good I am sure its just one of those patchs he never seems to have.

Great result tho when you think about it total day tho had to score 3 winners and team looked to responed in right way says alot about how far we come from those early results.  :buttrock

Torres tho in those 2 goals was great today he proves over and over agian just how great he is even 3 on 1 moments like his first goal. Can't help but feel if we got him a carlton cole type striker to play with he would get even more goals.

Babel is quick as hell smart as a goat - great cross but lets not get carried away he showed us why he is bench warmer after that...

Think the Greek should get some minutes our CB looked shattered.

Good Win many question marks.

When is Agger Back ? When is Aquillany ready to play?

look we will go onto win this game, but its times like this that shows how weak our bench is and our team is.

If you dont like it I suggest you support someone else, because you are not a fan of my club, I do not know one single Liverpool fan that blames Rafa for everything, or says we have 67 players when we clearly dont.

Carra was sh!te today, he was sh!te at times last season but to blame Rafa for his mistakes is a complete and utter joke.
Was Rafa to defensive minded today yes I will give you that but to blame him for a player that has been here longer than him well you are talking out your @rse as usuall and you havent got a clue.

I expect to hear you on the phone in soon Dave from Devon feckin clueless.

3 points onwards and upwards.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Precisely.   We need two GREAT CB's to accomodate the added risk of attacking FB's being caught out of position.

Martin's position is under threat if he doesnt buck up to be honest.

Well I don' tknow about Greavesie but I did watch the game and I agree with him. Babel did not play as 'awesome' as you make out to be. His assist to torres was good... other then that his decision making is still left unwanting... the break that he did with gerrard and later on failed to find gerrard again that was terrible. His ball control was sloppy... the push and run tactic and the over reliance on one leg is just irritating... I am grateful for his assist though...

I completely understand the "let's not get carried away" sentiment with Babel--he still has many limitations and needs to put in quite a few performances like this one to turn the proverbial corner.  But, credit where credit is due--the lad was up for it today and he made a telling contribution for the winner.  One of my biggest frustrations with Babel is that so often he just doesn't seem a.rsed.  Today he was putting himself about, looking to get involved and generally doing an honest impression of a player with something to prove.  Well done Ryan--and more of that please lad.  Also, brilliant man management from Rafa...he clearly gave Babel a kick up the backside and it's worked. :;):
