West Brom vs Liverpool Sat 18/08 KO: 3pm

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Downing is F.ucking lost out there.  Had a good couple of moments early, but he's f.ucked up every bit of build up on the right.  Stevie has been a bit guilty of giving the ball away a bit as well.  My first sub would be Hendo for Downing.  Push Stevie up to a part of the front 3.   Later on, bring Carroll on for Borini and have a front three of Suarez, Carroll, Gerrard.

I'm not saying make these changes at the half BTW.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Dont start blaming other factors, we have only ourselves to blame from missing very good chances time and time again, same as last season.

I also cannot remember last time Pepe saved a shot on target - although Geras was more or less unstoppable, every shot the oppo seems to have seems to go in whearas the other end of the pitch chance after chance is squandered.

Dunt matter like, we will still win :)

Not over yet, and we have options on the bench, I'm still confident we'll win this.

Kelly's been a bit of a mess back there.  He's really nervous with the ball, and he seems a bit uncertain with himself today.

Double foul on Borini and than Suarez there by Mulumbu, barreled thru the back of both of them and still no yellow card.

I just don't see the point in playing a left footed player on the right wing, it's setting him up for failure.

Why are we crossing like that with no target man?

Carroll anyone?

Johnson on the left and Downing on the right are giving us a bit of trouble.  They're both supposed to be some of our more important crossers, but neither have been great at it today.

Downing taken down from behind, I don't see how WBA have still escaped a yellow considering what we've done to get 2.

I think Charlie Adam just farted.  Carroll and Shelvey zipping up over their noses.  About the only thing to laugh at regarding this game so far.
