I'd like to see us mix it up for this one, hopefully Chiesa will get a game and Bradley. Spurs like Newcastle are after a trophy so is expected they will treat this like a final.

Personally not too bothered about this trophy, if we get to final then yeah would be nice to win. If we out semis, it is what it is.

I think certainly this is more important to Spurs than it is to us. This maybe Tottenham’s only chance at silverware and to give their manager more time, I think they will come into this with a high intensity so we need to be ready for it.

Would like to win but wouldn't lose any sleep if we don't. I wouldn't rush Bradley back into the team so Trent starts again for me. Same for Konate, no way should he be playing in the next 2 games. Jota on the other hand needs a bit of game time IMO so I'd start him for this one.

So with Quansah and Gomez out now, and Konate just back from his injury spell, anyone still think we do not need a class CB option?

And our two soon-to-be out-of-contract 30+ old horse are the ones who are constantly present. Old men eh?

it's a pretty grim watch so far. lots of poor passes, questionable shooting from Gakpo and Salah, Ali a spectator apart from one save at the start. Very strange to see Endo come into CB and he looks nervy there. Hopefully the second half is a lot better than the dross so far
