we finished 2nd in the league last year, a fairly close 2nd and that was with two 0-0s against Stoke.

If we win this it will be the double over them

they are mid table not bottom table

Lee Mason has had a shocker today ... always making up for bad calls. That was a foul on Lucas before the throw-in.

Perfectly legit throw from Stoke and he hands it back to us :D

i like Degan on the right. he really does have skills. perhaps he should play on the right side of midfield instead of kuyt.

seriously Rafa ... why have you spent £20m on a player and then not let him play his way into the team?  Players can't hit their stride without a few games under their belt.  BRING ON Aquilani.  At least, let's SEE Rodriguez!!

Ngog has had nothing to do all day, no service, just long balls and hopefull crosses.

Mind you his touch has let him down quite a bit
