There are heaps of good players in this squad and if he dares to try and blame players he is a small and unloyal man.

When Skirtel put that ball in the net I didn't even cheer. Even when I thought we'd equalised. That says something
joey ate the frogs legs
made the swiss roll
now he's munching gladback

Kharhaz wrote:As much as roy is to blame, the players are also. The tactics are clearly not working, but the players just dont look like they have any ability whatsoever. Our passing is poor, our tackling is poor, we offer no creativity at all and the players have about as much work ethic as Jim Royle.

This team needs a major overhaul, bring in players that can just do the basics would be a good start, and another striker if not to partner torres then to offer him some stern competition for his spot as at the minute he is not performing, we have no replacement for him, and he knows it.

No mate,

I can't blame the players in this one.. really can't, we had a good midfield, then the incompetent had to tinker with it taking off maxi putting Meireles on the right, its f8cking b*llox mate, it really is, never seen such an unbalanced midfield today, he can't even make subs early enough to change the game or even make one tactic right.

I'll tell you now if Harry Redknapp had this squad we will be playing miles better than this i would be livid if he starts blaming anyone or anything. Grow some cajones and take some responsibility!

It is also a complete mystery about the team he started tonight.

Mereilles, Gerrard, Kuyt and Lucas in midefield.  So that's 3 CMs and a striker??

Is he allergic to wingers?  Is that a little positive for Roy?  h Perhaps we needed to pack the midfield against such mighty opposition?

A disgrace.

The only positive I can take from tonights performance is its another nail in Hodgsons coffin. The only way he can redeem himself for me is to start his post match interview with 'oh well I tried my best, time to let someone else have a go.'

I've wanted to watch him succeed but my patience has finally run out. I've missed football since we last played but wondered tonight why.

Get Kenny in as a Caretaker, if it goes well keep him, if not find someone else.

This can get a lot worse if it carries on as it does. And it will.

Also a bit of advice for John W Henry, watch some of our games against Olympiakos, Barca, Real, Mancs (4-1), Besiktas (8-0) and countless others and compare them to this :censored: and then understand what needs to be done NOW!

Clueless bunch of Morons. Roy and his traveling parade of clowns. 4 players offside the whole lot of them offside. Can no longer watch Skertel ,Koncheski ,Kuyt ,Lucas and Babel. Is this is what we were waiting for all this time..All those postponed games playing a team which played 2 days ago and that's what we produce?? The only Shock needed is cutting 3-4 players now and Having Roy drive with them. Dispair and anguish.
