Liverpool Football Club - Games

Why do we have to make every single game interesting these days? Oh well, at this point I'll just take the three points I guess :).

definatly had a better second half .

The goal conceded was a little damper on the result but overall im pleased. We needed a win and we got the win. Now we need to build on that and win at Pompey on the weekend.

Aqua had a few decent moments too.

Wow, I cant believe that we ended up looking that shaky. We really need a couple of good results to turn this slump around.

I really thought that the right was a bit of a problem area for us, a mixture of Kuyt, Carragher, Skrytl and Lucas were too many players in one area who are not the best on the ball. We regularly gave away possession and generally looked uncomfortable in the last 30 minutes.

I think it was a decnet enough performace. we didn't shoot the lights out but we definately deserved to win. Thanks feck their bloke missed that open goal, but I honestly think even if he'd scored we'd have gone up a gear. Regulation wins are what we need right now, and that's what we got.

I can bet that if johnson had played , nzogbia wouldn't have gotten that goal , he's quick and johnson can match him for pace. Disappointing goal to concede but 3 points is 3 points. Stick with the 4-4-2 with Ngog and Torres upfront

That was shyte yet again. We seen that once we got the second, players started to feel at ease and the confidence started to come throw and really we should have made it three then because we started to play actual football for once. But yet again, a lapse on concentration and it's right back to square one. Really sh*t defending for their goal. Some of these lot just aren't performing like they should, and Gerrard really does need to take a long look at his game because he's just been dire all season. We were lucky in this game. Had we drew here, or worse, then the ceiling would have come down.

Once Aquilani and Torres are both fit and starting we will start playing with more confidence. Stevie will kick into gear as well then trust me.

I bought in Torres and made him my captain as a show of support. Couldn't believe he didn't start!

What a class act though, 30 minutes and he scores another goal. Feckin' genius he is.

It would have been a perfect night for him to get the record for the fastest 50 goals ever by a Liverpool player. Ah well, he should wrap it up against Porstmouth. Absolute, pure quality player though.

35 in 37 at Anfield. Staggering.

Think he is getting very close now - he looked a lot sharper tonight than he had done in any of his times previously - gerrard next to masher with aquaman in front of them behind torres and aquaman and gerrard swapping throughout the game
