Why we played so negative after we scored first? We are at home for Christ sake. If any one still believe woy can make us better, they are in denial. We need someone who can iñspire the players and playa system that suits the players that we have than the other way around.

The way hes been playing he wont be missed

To be fair, he did set up both goals today.  Made them out of nothing in fact.

I agree its not looking good, at all, but i do believe it will get better - but in all fairness todays result was shocking. I really expected 3 points today

Why will it get better mate? Because it can't get any worse? We are not missing any big players through injury, if anything we have 1 or 2 more attacking players than we did last season so we shouldn't be putting out such lame performances at home of all places.

Nice one Bav. well said. We had a full strength team of uninspired, ill-motivated, nonchalant wasters on that pitch. Most, bar perhaps one or max. two, I would deem a disgrace to that jersey, the fans and the legacy of Liverpool.
No excuses such as the tools who own the club, or Rafa, or the late arriving 10:15 from Doncaster Central......none of them are valid anymore...
This is a team of misfits who are a disgrace to LFC. Especially that tool Babel who hopefully never puts on a LFC jersey again. Thank fook he was nowhere near the place today.
Roy - you are out of your depth, God bless. Do the decent thing. It won't solve the problems long-term, but we have Kenny, Rushie and other ex-players who between them know and can show what it means to play for Liverpool and in front of the Kop.
A fookin' disgrace.

Yours, livid, etc.

Positives to come out of the game -

HOPEFULLY ROY SAW that putting 2 strikers on the pitch and :censored: off midfielders who can not pass and are a LIABILITY to the club and their team mates on the pitch (Poulsen and Lucas) - 2 strikers .. pushes CB's back and they in turn ask midfielders to come back a little thus giving our GOOD passing midfielders an opportunity to make some clean passes out to our wingbacks? and up to torres Ngog and play some 1-2's into the box. I mean c'mon seriously Roy please tell you're noticing Poulsen and Lucas's passing liability, it's becoming a joke that central midfielders who can't pass are allowed to wear the red shirt. (NB: Macherano was an exception because he was 2 defensive midfielders as one player)

Joe Cole - when he finally had some room because the defenders were focusing on the 2 strikers, we really did see what he was made of. Some decent touches and good runs in and around the box, hopefully he'll show some more against the tangerines next Sunday.

Negatives? ... really; not taking 3 points away from this average sunderland outfit, and also letting them have MORE POSSESION at ANFIELD? ???? wake the fck up defenders / midfielders, if they have the ball in our half .. GET IN THEIR FACE AND PRESS, put pressure on them to make a stupid pass and give away possesion. WE ARE LIVERPOOL :censored: FOOTBALL CLUB not some :censored: :censored: who are playing for survival in the premierleague, we have the squad to press into the top 4, so when you put on that jersey, whether it be at training, during a press conference, in a friendly, in an EPL Game or in Europe - Know you're playing for one of the best and most proud clubs in the history of European Football. You have the best support group who will be there in the best and worst of times, we've had enough of the worst of times - let's see some good times at Anfield

ps :censored:off tom and george.

such comments just confirm the fact that he has no ambition and should be managing a club that is fighting relegation....the irony :(

Who would you have picked differently for today? Are you seriously blaming the manager for the woeful display of those international players?

One thing that Roy must take note of and thats Poulsons complete lack of pace has a big impact on the team.
Defence gets less cover and attacks get slowed down when he's on the ball.
Just doesn't suit the team in much the same way that maxi doesn't.

We cannot afford to carry players, i would even say if we did play 5 in midfield again then Lucas would do a better job!
Lets just hope niether get on the pitch next week!

Fair enough
Maybe we should play him on the wing then?

the manager picks the team and sets them out to play in a style which HE deems best. its obvious he doesnt have the credibility to manage a big club like us. and his comments are a farce!
