Atrocious performance, home performance at that.

Another flat, lifeless display. Totally bereft of any ideas whatsoever. What I've noticed this season is that whenever we go forward, we look slow, and easy to contain and totally lacking any kind of threat whatsoever, whereas when we're defending, we look as if we can concede at any given moment due to gaps being left all over and the slow pressing. Sunderland look like they've a plan in attack, whereas we look like a Sunday pub team with players just recovering from a hangover.

Not sure if anyone saw City earlier but, my friends, I have to tell you, we are MILES away from them.

We looked so slow and I wonder who is at home? What happened to our players? I can't believe we are this bad given the players that we have. We were running like a headless chicken and looked out of sync. Other than the gift, we weren't even close to having any shot on goal. WTF.

unbelievable but we have been the weaker team in each game we are played in the permiership till now. We are playing with one striker only but still unable to control the midfield ,losing possesion after one pass ,total chaos - Team seems shell shocked ,we need some group therapy maybe pop some pills to calm the nerves.

But it seems crazy to be saying that at half-time against Sunderland?

Is that the best we should be hoping for.  Nicking a victory over Sunderland at home.  I want a performance.  Have not seen 1 very good performance this season.

I'll say one thing positive about that half, and that was Agger. When he came on, he was looking up, running the ball up the pitch and picking some nice passes into the midfield. Why Agger isn't in the starting line up is just baffling. Konchesky? WTF!!!

And me.

It's definitely still there for the taking but we need to press higher up with higher tempo, keep better hold of the ball and make better use of the whole pitch.  I think Dirk's tucked in behind Torres and I'd rather see him pushed out on the right to give someone for Johnson to overlap with.  Agger's going to have to push up on the left as well, to fill the gaps left by Cole cutting infield.  Gerrard and Poulsen need to stamp their authority on the midfield and Meireles is going to have to orchestrate more from in the hole.  Come on lads!
