Didn't realise Lennon was injured, which is at least a bit of good news for us with our own injury situation in mind. I'm quite sure he would have mullered Insua aswell. Still think this will be a very tough game indeed though, as they are in quite good form atm.

Wow....must have been doing some serious pedal 'n cranking to do BOTH his wrists in  :Oo:

He had a motorbike accident remember

I'm feeling good about tonight, with the support going to be at full, we can get though anything

2:0

nervy start nick a goal, hang on and score another very late on
All round the fields of Anfield Road

Spurs are going to be without Lennon and i thin that should be a major bonus for us as he is their main attacking threat and could pose us many many problems, especially with our defence looking a little bit ropey in recent weeks. I would put this match in the "must win" category, especially as we can close the gap on fourth place with a valuable win. Spurs have had a mean defence in recent weeks,  i think it is six games without conceding, and that could pose problems. Fingers crossed Rafa can get the players geared up for action and we can aid our Premier League top four aspirations with a valuable 2-1 win - that is what i am expecting and keeping everything crossed for like.

At Anfield? Do me a favour.

If I were that certain I'd be putting my money where my mouth was.

with so many injuries to our team, our 3 top attackers out, it's gonna be hard to win against a Spurs side which can be really creative on their day. Spurs are probably feeling really confident going into this match. hopefully i end up eating my words but too many times this season have i been made to eat my words when i predicted a win so i shall predict a loss instead and hope the trend of eating my words continue :D

Anyone heard anything about our possible lineup? Am curious to know if Agger is back and any of Riera/Maxi/Aquilani will start. Also hope to see Pacheco get on at some point (not if it means we are trailing though of course). Am getting very excited and nervous about this game now.

I would be happy with a draw tbh in our current situation (biggest players missing), but anyway, we MUST NOT lose to be still in for the 4th place.
Wish for a 2-1 win, would take any draw.

Very nervous about this game and the way we are playing is certainly worrying , biggest threat is modric , if we close him down and don't give him the time to pass , spurs game through the middle is stopped. I think we'll be lucky to get a draw as spurs have been good and have a better squad than us at the moment , i think they will nick this 1-0 or 2-1

The two squads according to Teamtalk:

Reds (from): Reina, Degen, Skrtel, Carragher, Agger, Insua, Aquilani, Lucas, Rodriguez, Riera, Ngog, Kuyt, Aurelio, Cavalieri, Kyrgiakos, Pacheco, Spearing, Darby, Babel.

Spurs (from): Gomes, Alnwick, Corluka, Naughton, Bale, Bassong, Dawson, Jenas, Palacios, Bentley, Kranjcar, Modric, Rose, Keane, Defoe, Crouch, Pavlyuchenko.

It's always somewhat difficult guessing what team Rafa puts out... so I won't :D
Re Tottenham I think they might turn out something like this:

Gomes

Bale
Bassong
Dawson
Corluka

Modric
Palacios
Jenas
Kranjcar

Crouch
Defoe

Any thoughts to how we will/should play a team like that?
