Liverpool Football Club - Games

the funny thing is Andy Townsend and steve Coppell are right, the players have no confidence, and we HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO change this.

we dont not have a plan B, when Stevie and Nando arent playing, its like we're playing for a draw and the chances we miss....??

did anyone see Ngog......the ball hit both feet, he kicked the ball onto the other, did no one else see that? ???

we were watching a premier league team without a clue playing a championship relegation fodder. we should be able to win without sg and torres and a deflection. or is that asking too much nowadays...seems like it tbh

no offence mate, but i genuinely feel this is deeper than jus th manager, back room etc..... its only gettin worse an only th 2 idiot owners can change anythin mate. i admit t bein a Rafa supporter, but not blindly, but i really cant see any1 bein allowed t put us back on track under current situations.

I know its not just the manager mate, but we have to start somewhere and it appears the owners aren't going any time soon, so the quickest ,easiest and probably the only real solution at the moment would be to change the manager.

Exactomundo, the players have no confidence. El Zilcho.

With the exception of Agger who i thought was class tonight.

Maybe it is time for Rafa to go? Depends on what happens in the next few matches imo

its easy to say that the ownership situation needs change but that doesnt affect Rafas ability to do his job. I agree that owners come first and all that. We sealed our fate by giving Rafa that contract for five years and the owners having no money. The owners are :censored: and they have to go. We all agree there but that doesnt deflect anything from the underlying fact that Rafa is not a good thing for this club

Banana,

I think your fooked in the head to be blaming anybody else for this shamble's of a performance if you could even call it that on anyone else but the Manager, We were playing Second Division Dross, the Whipping Boys of The Championship, they deserved their WIN, they were better in ALL areas of the Pitch, Thier Coach out thought the Master Tactician....... Benitez.

It's time for said Benitez to say Hasta La Vista cos if he don't we'll end up mid table, for those Happy Clappers like yourself that don't understand that means it will as a Club cost us more money to keep him than get rid of him now and fight for fourth place, and a possible Champions League Place................... Do the Math yourself, £15 M to get rid approx, gaurenteed £20m for finishing fourth and Champions League Money next Year under a new Manager!

Sack Rafa!!!

Yeah.

Sacking him will fix everything.

It will give us a new stadium and money to sign players.

All of you morons are so afraid to handle the real problem. The real problem is that it is over. No more can Liverpool compete with 20 % of Manchester's revenues. It is over.

Blame the players, blame Rafa,

But be afraid of the REAL problem

Thank god you don't post often . The team performs poorly for a game or two we can blame the players but its been like that the whole :censored: season , who signs a injured midfielder for 20 million , we could have used another top class striker but instead he goes out and panic buys , i'm not writing aqualini off yet but the fact of the matter remains that he has missed 3 months of the first season , 3 months where the money could have been better utilized. Don't blame the owners for everything , rafa has had his money to spent and instead of using it well he has signed players like Lucas , Pennant , Josemi , Gonzales , dossena , theres another 25 million down the drain where we could have used to get a simao or a silva , worldclass players instead of drivel

I know it is painful to accept the truth and that it is more comfortable to think that there is an easy solution to everything.

I know that it is hard to accept that Liverpool's first team budget equals Man United's youth team budget.

I know you don't want to accept that Liverpool bought Glen Johnson on money owed for Peter Crouch. I know that it is hard to accept that Benitez never was given a fair chance to replace Alonso so he had to take a gamble on an injured player. I know it is hard to accept that Gerrard and Carra are aging and that their best years are behind them. I know it is hard to accept that most of the players in the squad is a collection of bargain basement additions. I know it is a new transfer window with no money available for signings (just a 30 year old on free transfer). I know it is hard to accept that the only 3 world class players will be gone next year (mascherano, Reina and Torres). I know it is hard to accept that Liverpool will be facing relegation in a few years.

But go ahead, keep dreaming, sacking the manager will give us the stadium and the players.
If football is banned in heaven. I'd rather go to hell.

WHAT SITUATION ?!!?!?!!??!?!!?!

FFS MAN, we spent 40mill in the summer... 42mill the summer before, 72 mill the season before....

We signed a mega sponsorship deal, GAVE THE MANAGER A HUGE CONTRACT, renewed our major players' contracts !

I dont think the players and manager see things the way many here do to be honest ! Its just unbelievable at times ! They go out and play football, they dont fcking care if the loan is refinanced or whatever !  Its just fcking lame excuses man !

do you really see it happenin?

If they brought a new manager in with the transfer window open , they might have to spend some money. Wait till its closed and they can happily wait till the summer before putting their hands in their pockets.

We all know that the owners have done little to help, but you can't blame them for nights like tonight. That is down to the manager and players. FFS we should have been able to beat a team like Reading with our reserves.
