Very flat first half. Allen off for Coutinho second half.

on more positive news, Lallana is expected to seal a deal to us next week for £20 million...he'll improve our attacking options no end. But we MUST sign a defensive midfielder, along with a full back or two.

No matter what City did today...we cannot afford to lose and let Chelsea finish above us.

Well that wasn't a huge amount of fun.

Thank God Chelsea are losing, that would be too much to take.

And that's what we gonna see next year more and more. After scoring 100 (ok, 99) goals,
Teams gonna play against us in a more defensive way. Gonna be hard to score those 4 or 5 a game.

Would be nice to get the 100 and to see Luis get another one or two. What did you think about the free kick?

Surprised it's been quite flat, although City scoring probably killed it a little but let's pick this up second half and go out with a bang. The players look a bit flat themselves, Monday night would have taken a lot out I suppose.

Dowd was in no position to disallow that goal. He wasn't looking and then said it was disallowed because he was talking to somebody. That's not how direct free kicks work dowd... If we complain or you're carding somebody, you can tell us to wait. But you didn't, and if the other team could slow the play down they'd just grab the ref every chance they got. He's not looking, we score and it's wrongly disallowed. Newcastle have it in the back of our net within the minute.

Feels like it's really summed up large parts of our season.

No Coutinho no creativity ,Johnson and Skertel highlighted which positions needs reinforcement immediately ,rest of the team petrified and clueless.

What would you think if it was a goal against us? Sorry, to be honest... It's not a goal. Ball was moving
