Big big game today. The nerves are going more than usual, just hope we go out there and put in that big performance we sorely need, everyone needs to come to the fore, stand up and be counted etc. A win our confidence is back.. Lose I can't even contemplate the damage it could do but, it's just another game albeit a pivotal one against the scum, let's go out from the off an get all over these f##krs!

As far as i'm concerned anything bar a win and our title ambitions die here, manchester united have the opportunity to do that , how'd they love to be the ones who ended it for us. We needed a win last time to stay in the title race , i hope we can dig deep and pull a rabbit out of a hat once more.

We don't seem strong enough defensively to bank on them not scoring so we need to attack from the start.

Rafa needs to take SAF by surprise I think, with something like this

Reina

Johnson Carra Agger Insua

Kuyt Masch Lucas Benny

Babel Torres

Lots of pace upfront, Masch and Lucas sitting, with Benny and Kuyt pushing on as much as possible early doors.

With that line up there can be lots of interchange of positions too between Babel, Benny and Kuyt to make us hard to pick up.

If we play like we have recently we're going to get thumped today. Time to stop the rot, step up, and start the season.

Off to the pub to watch this one....
Where i like there are two pubs right next to eachother, one full of united fans, and the other full of liverpool fans.

I'm off with a "mate" who supports the mancs and we agreed to do half a match in each.

If i die...i love you all.

With you on that one Greavsie... Might just be paper talk to be fair but I reckon there is probably something in it, Mascherano this season hasn't been the same player of last season, his head's been turned by Barce in the summer imo. If any player owes something to Rafa Benitez it's Mascherano for basically resurrecting his career.

Anyway... can't fu.ckin wait for the game now, getting a bit nervy... lets crush these Manc b@st@rds!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree but so many reports about it seems like its true.

I am very disappointed with him.Also on sunday suplement they was talking about alonso and it still worries me that rafa couldn't just go to him and say "I need you stay please".

Any way game on I am not too confident today its just that fergie knows if they can beat us today it could cost Rafa his job so I guess he try every trick in book.But I hope we can win.
