Dirk was good when he came on. Still a big game player.

Not just the goal, but his steady head and solid play.

MOM no idea tbh

Nerves shredded after watching that.  I thought we showed a mediocre Manc side too much respect in the middle part of the match.  But Kenny's subs did the job and Dirk was cool as f.uck when it counted.  Our season starts now! :D

Carroll for me. Closely followed by Agger, then Skrtel. Skrtel saved the game of course when Wellbeck was through. Agger made a couple of awsome interceptions and made them look easy!

two Mancs in a week. Awesome
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Bad choice from the start with Carragher "Big misstake with playing him in DM" and Maxi "one of his games when nothing works". We looked really awful. Looked like we tried playing it safe without a good defensive plan ... or offensive without an offensive one.

Then the changes and it totally switched it around. Always lover for Dirk to get a goal.. to me he embodies LFC.

Carrol actually was ok today!

Take that you mancunts.

What a result. De Gea probably should have got a hand on the shot but great goal from Dirk. Carroll played a part in both goals and should take some credit. Best thing is Suarez is now back!

Luis's back already? Yay!! Loved seeing him cheer from the crowd. He LOVED it!

Agreed. We won back the midfield when he came on. Brought more tempo and spread the play very well.

Very impressed with Skrtel over the last few months. Some very important interceptions again today.

Too much happiness for just 4 days.

I love Kenny but why insists on those repeating mistakes is beyond me. All well ends well.
