LIVERPOOL VS MANCHESTER CITY - Semi final 2nd leg Weds 25/01/2012

Liverpool Football Club - Games

It was a penalty, no doubt about it. His hands were up, I saw it, you saw it and more importantly the ref saw it. It may well have hit his foot first but his hands were up. Although if his name was John Terry, who does that all the bloody time, he would have got away with it.

If its ball to hand from a short distance then it's normal not handball plus various other permutations .

The one thing is after the ball hits Richards leg it goes straight up in the arm - it was no longer on target after it hit his leg .

Ask him if he's having fun playing with the reserves.

Mehhhh, if you're in the box and the ball touches your hand or your hand touches the ball.....if a penalty ensues then I don't see how luck comes into it.

Anyway, game on  :D

It wasn't. The ball was going straight up.

Anyway, we deserved that slice of luck.

just watched the reply, Agger's shot was clearly going on goal and it only struck one of Richard's hand :D

Agger's shot was going on goal.. which Richards blocked with his foot and the ball then went straight up. We deserve a bit of luck!

I imagine grabbing someones balls (ala Vinnie Jones on Gazza) and the ref sees it, it's a foul. I was wondering though, what if a player puts his balls in someones hand? Is it still a foul?
