LIVERPOOL VS MANCHESTER CITY - 11 apr 2011

Liverpool Football Club - Games

the thing that annoys me is, if we had beaten WBA, we'd be talking about the possibility of CL football right now.

Man city are a shambles

Just think where we can go with 2 or 3 top class players thrown into the squad.

Wonder if they had to raid the club store for a child sized shirt for Flanagan? On the close ups he looks like he should be delivering my Sunday paper not playing RB for Liverpool Football Club.

Absolutely fantastic first half boys... This is how LFC play.  If we continue this form into the second, I see Carroll completing his hattrick and Suarez banking in one too.

Honestly, I think the ref has been a bit shocking.  He's missed a lot of little fouls.  He let's it play on, which is fine, but he's inconsistent.  I think Carroll has been manhandled like mad a few times, Suarez probably could have had a couple and I know Kuyt should have gotten the foul before Dzeko did.

What a great half, we are playing with a great tempo, Flanaghan looks very sound at right back, more of the same for the second half you red men.

I'm going for 7 - 0. AC to get his hattrick + 1 and Suarez and Mierles

I made an appointment to get an LFC tattoo on my heart a half hour before the game started.

I made the right choice! :)

Nice to see happy campers all round tonight.  All it took was 3 first half goals, a potential gem found amongst the fullbacks and our captain out for the rest of the season.  Can we please get back to slagging off somebody?  Lucas?  Carragher's legs?  Think the groundsman got it wrong tonight at least. :;):
