We shouldn't go strong in this, time to give some other lads a go. I'm hoping Chisea gets a start here, if not then I don't know when he will.

I'd like to see some of main lads given a break like VVD, Salah, Grav.

We've got Ipswich on Sat so focus should be on that.

Unfortunately Lille are no mugs, they've beaten Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid this season in the CL and shared points with Juventus. They're also doing alright in the French league, they're in decent form. They're not certain to go through to the last 16 though, they're only a point above 9th, so they'll probably give their best to get something out of this game.

Having said that, we must rotate players or risk fatigue once again. I think we are certain to go through directly to the last 16 anyway, so even if we lose both remaining games it shouldn't mean anything (as far as I know there's no difference in finishing first and finishing 8th). With Gomez out and Konate more at risk, I don't think we'll be resting Virgil, but other players that have played a lot of football this season like Salah, Grav, Mac, Trent etc. we have decent cover for them. Nunez and Elliot deserve to start after performing well against Brentford, and other players like Bradley, Quansah, Endo etc. are good enough to start some games.

Still no Chiesa in the starting line up, why the hell did we sign this guy?

Quansah, Jones, Captain Chaos in...Bradley in.
Not a first choice selection I don't think, but it looks a bit iffy if Slot wants to win this. These are no mugs

Not the sort of line-up I expected, too many first team players. Agreed that Chiesa should start but even the likes of Elliot and Endo are not starting. I hope we win at least.

I'm surprised, pleasantly. Quansah and Nunez doing OK so far. Not impressed with Jones though. Tsimikas also playing well.
One more goal, then make a rake of subs. No need to risk injuries when we're in this position.

Chiesa looking lively since since coming on, but we should have put this game to bed much earlier

Atleti sneaked it right at the death and Barca came back from 1-3 and 2-4 down to stole it in injury time. What a crazy game and what a goal by Raphina 

...and to add insult to injury, the Benfica's striker got sent off, and he wasn't even on field   

Keeping our perfect score in the CL this season, 6 wins out of 6. Good to see some of the lads that haven't played a lot get a few minutes, some more some less. Sadly we're not certain to finish first with Barcelona somehow winning their game at the end, if we lose and they win the next game they'll be first on goal difference. I hope we don't field a strong side in the last game because of this, there's simply no need, first or second in the group stages it doesn't make any difference.
