Good win. 7 points clear with a game in hand. Klopp would be proud of how his players are performing this season.

Massive win, no way could we have afforded to drop points there. We are giving off all the right vibes, we are not showing no signs of weakness or mental fragility which is important in terms of not giving our rivals any hope.

Great result after our usual early indiscretion. Terrific performance from Cody Gakpo MOTM. Brilliant goal from Mo again.

We kept composed and got the job done on another day this easily could've been dropped points against a low block side.
We're showing the right mentality on our pursuit to glory.

I thought lads played well, wasn't happy with conceeding as were due a clean sheet but importantly we kept it only to a single goal.

We have become a team that finds ways to win, so far we have been excellent in matches in the second half. Last year we were gifting teams early goals and throwing everything at it, it always felt hopeful. This year we are doing it with control of matches and relentless pressure, it just feels more certain. We look much better under Slot at breaking deep block teams down, our control has been finding more gaps. I think we continue like this and teams will start gifting us matches, saving themselves for their next match as they know they won’t win, just like they did for City in years past.

Slot football is not as entertaining as Klopp football but it’s not as stressful either. As it stands, the owners found us the best replacement possible. Our improvement feels natural and organic.

Yup usually against a low block side you see soo many side way passing, inability to open up the parked bus. However, I did notice yesterday we were creating gaps and were gradually stretching out Liecester at the back. Trents whipped in crosses gave them something to deal with.

Long way to go fellas but things are looking really promising. I just want us to maintain this gap. After West ham, in Jan we've got quite a few cup games. Double vs spurs, FA cup against Accrington and 2 unimportant ucl games. Slot will definitely mix it up alot then. Hopefully it will also give Chisea plenty of game time then.

Agreed with the comments above, the biggest improvement this season is that we look much better at finding ways to score against teams that defend deep.

Pleased to see Jones put in a good shift and get a deserved goal.

We put something like 34 crosses into the centre during the first half alone that came to nothing. We dominated, we attached at will and fortunately got to 2-1 ahead before Jota came on. If Jota had started, how many of those countless chances would he have slotted away which Nunez failed to? I know I bang on about Nunez but we'll never have so many chances in 45 minutes of footy and never be able to dissect another defence at will. So realistically what is Nunez future? Is he any better than Origi?
