World of hurt if we play that formation ,Barkley will destroy us.
Leave Sturridge a lone striker ,put Luis and Sterlng on the flanks and Coutinho Gerrard and Hendo in the middle. 2 striker formation is big trouble.

Out of the Everton injuries though the likes of Barkley, Jagielka, Coleman, Distin and Pienaar are 50/50 to play, they are having fitness tests or injections later to see if they can make it.
Considering this is their cup final I reckon they'll be lining up with a pretty much full strength side.

Out of that bunch only Barkley is the one to fear ,the lad is explosive in the attacking MF area (just where we are fcked) ,the rest pretty much ordinery.

Disagree. I would rather have Distin, Jagielka and Coleman all injured than Barkley.
Individually they may not be as flashy as Barkley but as a collective unit they have been superb in defense.
Pienaar is one to look out for too.

Hope Brendan knows what he's doing. Not that we have too much choice but still.

I suspect that Coutinho will be more of a midfield than a winger this time though. He would drop back deep to receive the ball like we've seen him a few times. It's a bit better like that but we still won't be able to cope with Everton's midfield. We'll need some Anfield magic in this one!

Not a bad start.. Alcaraz looks ripe for our front players.

That shot from Gerrard was the first time I have seen him strike a ball like that for a long time
