We gave up after they scored. Don't even look like trying to play the last 6 minutes.

And why did the ref call it at exactly 8 minutes? They scored a goal and celebrated and that took a good 2 minutes and we made a sub... How is there not another minute added on?

look, blame the ref all you want for the offside calls and so on but dont be oblivious to the fact that we're not making the most of our chances. we should have been 4-0 up in the second half but were unlucky as we missed a penalty and hit the post customarily. we're just unlucky at scoring, that's it really.
