Liverpool Football Club - Games

I'm sure Carroll will be on in the 2nd half at some point, I really hope we don't just hoof the ball up to him all the time. Get it to his feet and see what he can do.

same old stories. woodwork, lack of clinical finishing and good goalkeeping. we're playing some nice football but there is just that little lack of quality that stops us finishing all the good moves. lets be fair to carra too - he's back in the team for the first time in ages and gets beaten by the most on fire striker in the league. not sure coates or agger would have done much better.

I think we are playing well... I'm quite surprised we are dominating them in midfield... Suarez and Kuyt are doing a good job pressuring their midfielders. What a difference it makes when Kuyt is playing instead of Carrol... He wins the ball from opposition and there is pass and move between Suarez and him. This makes such a difference...

we've been dead unlucky with the goalposts though!!

Why on earth would he tell them to sit back?

Not winning and playing against a side who scored 5 after being 2 down.

Wake up son

perhaps he might ask the team to  sit back after we take the lead?  ???

think before you post numpty

Perfect summation of the game (and the season on the whole). And that was a one in 20 ball from Sagna to Van Persie who scored what is 23 goal in 27 matches? Not exactly giving up goals to Graham Holt and drawing.

It's like I've seen the game before it happens.

we've hit the woodwork 21 times! :O

unbelievable
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I reckon we have hit the post more times than we have scored goals this season.

Decent half, but same old problem. Gotta stick the ball in the net!
