i'll take a point vs arsenal with only 10 men for half a game
any day of the week and twice on sunday

but if the sun was in pepe's eyes he REALLY should have punched it, cause that's what it looked like

I said after about 10 mins that the ball seemed to be running for them. Absolutely gutted but considering we were down to 10 (9 at one stage), I thought the boys were truly awesome. I said at half-time I'de settle for a draw and got what I wished for. B*stard

Daws - you're spot on pal, we were awesome

Chin up Pepe - you're a hero

I would have taken the 1-1 draw at half time with both hands. But playing with 10 man and concieding a goal in the 89th minutes is a real pain

Good result considering. Although the ref was poor, its always made harder for him when the players go down at every opportunity they get. Arsenal were guilty of that a good few times in that match. Thats one thing about Liverpool, the players stay on their feet a majority of the time which is why its big news when a Liverpool player does dive.

A great second half performance from the lads but we were unlucky at the end.

You know it's a good day when you're disappointed to draw 1-1 with Arsenal after playing an entire half a man down.  Brave, brave performance from the lads and we were desperately unlucky not to win it.  What a cracking goal from Ngog--say what you will but the lad's bang on form at the moment and is taking his chances well.  I feel terrible for Reina, who had just pulled off a wonder save minutes before.  Big kudos to Daniel Agger for soldiering on as well...the lad didn't know what planet he was on but he was still out there heading balls clear and going in for corners.  Not quite the euphoria that would have come with all 3 points but a massive platform to build on.  Well in Red Men! :blues:

Unfortunate way to lose that, that was hard to take.  That said it was a very gutsy performance and matches like that make you proud to support Liverpool, but we deserved the three points.
