I agree mate, I think he should go, but I won't be celebrating if and when he does.

NO....NAH.....NOPE.....the fans are walking out. They are booing loudly !!!!...... This is the truth....

I dont think many happy clappers will argue much atm mate. I've been trying to see the good side of things but you're got to draw the line somewhere and seeing that dross week in week out for 15 games now is takin the p!ss.

Haha....don't give the clappy hippies too much credit. Give it a few days....and they will be back to "real fans go to matches"..."real fans were signing benitez's name"..... blah blah blah....

I cant believe it, i dont know what rafa or arsene said in the second half, gutted. We completly dominated 1st half and lost ourselfs in the second.

i have backed rafa to continue till season ends, but 3 wins in 15 is not liverpool standard, out of champions leauge, might not even finish 4th, i think this could be the nail in the coffin

I know mate, I always thought he can do it.. but he won't.

the financial implications are what bother me tbh mate, we don't fully know where our finances stand but no CL can't help and the fact that we aren't looking like qualifying for it isn't good either. A new manager won't have a very big budget

That said we could ge Del Boy in to sell some of our 'fringe players'  :D

The thing is mate, the team selection this season, when you have players like kuyt and lucas starting games you question the manager's ability to play quality players.

We have no creativity, nothing upfront except for Torres. Lucas and Kuyt are ''working hard'' which is affecting the team. Aquilani looks like another flop (I hope not) and our backfour has been cr@p all season.

We went backwards, not forward and its down to the manager. I really want him to succeed, I like the guy, but he won't succeed because he will never learn from his mistakes.

We have a run of "easy games" now, it might help take the pressure off a bit

sacking him for me is a massive step into uncertainty, I'm not sure I trust those two to pick the right man, they'd give the reigns to Sammy till the end of the season I reckon and then pick friggin Jurgen

I love Rafa too and I think that he's one of the best managers around, but maybe now the only way this team can get the confidence back is by replacing the manager.  I mean 3 wins out of 15 is completely unexceptable.  :(

yes it will be a sad day, but i have said even before he was our manager that he was not the man to win the prem.
It is sad as he has been with us a long time now and he has won us the prem, but if we are to move on and win the 19th it must be under a new manager.

First five minutes of the second half I was already thinking WTF !

Still don't know what happened, don't think Arsenal's second half performance was that much better, we just seemed to lose intensity and stepped off the pace .

I thought the ref was a baldy kunt.

Note: Bigmick 'The little prince' I know its early but ................... I have my doubts :(

They go lucky and our confidence was on the balance and we lost composure for about twenty minutes after their second goal.

I don't think Benitez is to blame, first half we rushed em, second half we never recovered.

Worst season in a long time ............ I'm off to the ping pong bar

It's all very sad.  The players look shell-shocked.  The fact is now that we are a team in decline.  I don't think Rafa has the team with him at all anymore.  This could get very serious unless there's a change somehow.  I hate to say it but the worst thing that could've happened for us this year is Rafa signing that 5 year deal.  He doesn't look at all like a manager who knows how to win the Premier league.  Confidence is the worst I've seen in a Liverpool team.  Players underachieving all over the park.  Lack of conviction.  Poor passing.  Inability to hold the ball.  Basics going wrong.  Sure, we'll pick up points and even have a mini-run of wins at some point but what good is that?  It just hides the obvious.  We've gone backwards dramatically this season.  Losing Xabi was a big blow.  Not having a top quality second striker is killing us.  Tactics are .. well, what tactics?  I'm not really sure I see much of a gameplan in alot of what we've seen this year.  We've had some shocking luck (beach balls etc) and a slew of injuries but overall, we've coped like a Middlesborough or an Everton with it.  Amazing to think we lost two games all last season.  I guess we just keep going.  Maybe we can win the cup and just grab that 4th place.  Feels like its about 5 years ago in terms of progress.  Pass the wine.  and whiskey.
