LIVERPOOL v Swansea - Sun 23rd Feb 2014 13.30 KO

Liverpool Football Club - Games

I don't care what the commentators are saying about that "little kick out" that's never a f*cking foul in a million years on Skrtel. The tackle came in and his legs were jammed up into Shelvey, then all he does is puts his legs on the ground quickly to get up because the ball's still in play. That's not a f*cking foul, and the number of fouls swansea have gotten from absolutely nothing is shocking. That one in the attacking corner on Flanno when Taylor completely dove was ridiculous… He rested his hand on his back and that's enough to push him over? BS! If that were Suarez the commentators would have having a f*cking field day, but instead they've reinforced the ref's decision even tho everybody and their mother knows that wasn't a foul, even if it were two 4 year olds playing against each other.

Anyway.. Alright first half. All over in the back, but we do look very capable of scoring. I can't believe how shambolic our defense gets at times tho. It's clear what we need to work on in the off season, because we're now tied with the most goals in the pl, but our defense leaks goals like a granny who forgot to wear her adult diapers.

Skrtel makes a mistake and suddenly turns to be a skipgoat? His great golas as a defender are already forgotten? Suarez should get back to his high scoring rate.

Good player is Shelvey. Had no future with us, that was obvious. But he's classy and has moments of magic in him.

Don't believe how they are literally waltzing straight through our midfield and onto our defence. Very kamikaze and should be dispatching teams like this in a controlled manner. Just so glad we have two absolutely top strikers

I think it's naievty on BR's part to keep on attacking with this view of bulldozing our way to wherever we end up this year. I'm sure at this point, we'd all rather he made three points the priority though. I'd like to see us get another goal, maybe two, then focus on keeping the three points. But then we're not good at defending! Maybe BR see's a 5 goal cushion as the safety point, and the time to shut up shop, as opposed to the two of other teams :D

Possibly. I just think our problem has always been against the so called lesser sides. I know 9 times out of 10 we will put in performance against the top teams but intensity drops off when we play these kind of teams. As though we say, our attack will take care of the poor teams so we can afford to drop off intensity in midfield etc. It never works that way though. Starting to to think it's a mental thing

that's been coming for a long, long time...Skrtel has been wrestling players in the box all season and it was inevitable that a pen would come from it.

All I ask for is consistency Maypax, and there was clearly not, especially when the ref's not even looking at the play, and I'm not the first who've said that a ref will come into the game looking to give Skrtel a pen after how much talking there's been about what he does.

Oh you have no idea. I get so irrational during games, I'd probably be sent to the stands twice per week. Once at our games, once at united's
