That's how bad he was yesterday...time for the club to put a bløødy end to this right now. Offer all 3 a contract immediately, get a final decision so we could move on. No more back and forth penny pinching. We have trophies to win and we absolutely cannot squander this type of lead that we have built up. Merely getting a draw and the wolfpacks are already smelling blood ffs

FWIW we are still 6 ahead with a game in hand from the next guy. The games are coming thick and fast and everyone wants a result against us. We cannot afford any distraction. Not this time. Not right now
We always have distractions during this part of the season.. every single season since FSG have been here.

It's either letting contracts run down, not signing a CB in January when every CB was out injured, Wanting to join this new Super league fiasco.

Every season there's some stupid sh!t that distracts the team from winning the league.

We need 100% focus now, we need to stop p1ssing around and get these contracts sorted ASAP.. because the longer we leave it, the more distracted the team will be.

Realistically how much is Trent worth per week. Think he's around 180 so a 20k rise on that won't be enough and he ain't worth over 200k. That's crazy money for a RB that has plenty of performances like today in him. Id let him go tbh and take the money that's on offer. He won't want to go to Madrid injured so there is that to consider.

I wouldn't give Mo anything other than a yearly rolling contract on the same money he's earning currently. I know his stats for scoring and assists is the best about but he's waning big time on other areas. Strolling around after players like today and offered very little support defensively. We can't give him a multiple year deal and crazy money as he will fall off a cliff at some point.

Van Dijk is too important to let go imo. Not just his on field performances but his leadership on and off the pitch. Losing that will really hurt us.

I don't know what to make of Trent, if that performance was connected with him wanting a move then we can't really have a player who won't give his all. We are aiming for major honours this season and have an amazing opportunity to land no.20. We need to think fast and act fast. Club should have a chat with Trent if he wants to go then let him. Trent is VC and regarded high within the squad, having someone like that who doesn't want to be here could derail our season.

After the cup games we've got Forest away, they'll be super pumped playing us. Then we travel to Brentford, another tough game.

Yesterday was a missed opportunity and just gives Arsenal some hope.
Luckily for us this season our rivals are inconsistent.

Might not be a popular opinion but I'll take £30M and let Trent go this month. Recycle the money into Mo and Virgil's contracts. That way he can watch us lift the PL and possibly CL on TV come this May. As it is right now, he is not worth the money, time and distraction to keep around. Cut the losses...all these fiasco are on FSG and we will deal with those parasites later

That Forest away game will be our toughest fixture to date.

Agreed. The one after against Brenford not far behind either tbh. I might have taken a draw against Forest considering the form they're in but after the Man U draw we can't afford too many slip ups in quick succession.
