Dawson, there's a major difference between playing a natural wide player like Maxi or Riera to playing a player in that position who's never played there before in his life. It's the footballing equivelant of playing Xabi Alonso or Zidane on the right wing in a 4-4-2 formation.
..or babel or kuyt or the 100s of others we play out of position...
but yeah, Meriles should be more central, but we are short of players so some need to adapt
