hopefully everton football club will ban every one of those spineless b@stards caught on camera throwing stuff at LFC players. No f*ckin need for that at all.

3 Points and a clean sheet. Job done.

We didn't play particularly well, and it seems that we only play decent when Gerrard is playing.  The other players need to change their mentality and stand up and be counted if progression and winning trophies is the ultimate goal.

I'll take it. Good stuff. Win. This time last year: 1 win, 3 draws, 3 losses six points 18th place. Now 4 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses 13 points. 4th place for now. Good stuff. United in two weeks at Anfield.

Great Result!!

Very similair to the Arsenal game as one already mentioned but would take it everyday of the year.

Mentality shift is a must if we are serious competing for a CL spot. Gerrard is a must for us this season. His character and confidence and ability would and should take us to where we aim this season.

Happy with the win... however we have to stop relying on sending offs. It would be good if we could strengthen in January... a CB and a midfielder... I'm afraid Adam is a squad player...

Ref did us a massive favour really and to be fair never a red that. Seemed to take an eternity to kill them off but eventually wore them down. We where just professional, saw it through without being spectacular, similair to the Arsenal game. Not sure what the stewards do over there, not much by look, few in those corners should have been kicked out the ground and pushed back into their seats from the wall. Ridiculous the way they just allow them to carry on like that without taking action. You would expect banning orders from TV footage let alone CCTV, clear as day the offenders.

I don't usually rely on gut feelings but I just knew it that Andy would score in this one, I felt it days ago. Wasn't even surprised when he scored, it's like I was just waiting for the moment, knowing that would happen sooner or later.

Anyway, overall I think we were really lucky. In the first 20 minutes we were getting absolutely destroyed and it was as if we had no midfield and if the ref didn't send one of their midfielders off (which was hardly a red IMO) I think we would have been beaten today. But we usually get screwed by the refs so it's only fair for a decision to go our way for once. All in all, lucky or not valuable 3 points and a clean sheet which I would take any day.
