It's alright having Torres and Gerrard together when the other team are not pressing the feck out of us but they are and we are not providing enoughquality balls into him. Gerrard is having to drop deep in exactly the same way he did last season leaving Torres to plough a lone furrow up top against Distin and Jagielka (who I might add has had Torres' number everytime we've played the bitters).

Hmm, not true. Torres needs to play facing the goal, not with his back to it. That's exactly what he's trying to do, come deep and collect, but unfortunately to collect he has to come past the half way line. Carragher had a pop at Torres when he tried to hoof it to him early on I noticed. He's f*cking me off is Carra. I'd bench him and take him down a peg.

I can tell you all one thing now for a fact: Torres will be thinking about leaving. Getting abuse for having to chase down long balls is something that a world class forward should not, and will not put up with. F*ckin disgrace the way he's being used.

look at torres then the ball was put in to where he was styanding but he leaves the spot and runs offside, just dont get him right now

And why does Maxi never get right on the touchline to give us some width, is that Roy's tactics or just Maxi just ignore them? Even if he is not doing what the manager asks then why doesn't the manager fack him off?!
