I think your close to being a gimp, Gerrard_steven. Sissoko IS young, but so is Xabi, whats your point? Maybe he's just very fit? Ever thought of that? The fact that Riise can run all day and play shed loads of matches should be acredited to his youth then? Sissoko is a brilliant prospect, Zenden is getting used to playing out on the wing again, Reina looks superb and we are still searching for a CB and RW.

I suspect you would only get excited by Shevchenko, Ronaldo, Robben, Terry and frickin' Owen signing.

In his short time with us so far, I have seen more crosses from Zended which actually GOES into the opposition penalty area than Kewell being SUCCESSFUL at even ATTEMPTING to cross (or look like it).

I can't even remember when was the last time Kewell even crossed a decent ball into the penalty area.

Zenden is not expected to flash his skills whilst trying to cross the ball, heck Kewell can't even beat a linesman these days. Give the guy a chance, he came on a free and has not been wanting for effort.

Speaking of crosses, if anyone go and ask van Horseface, he'd surely mention the fact that he really misses those crosses from one David Beckham. Sure, Beckham is rather limited in many ways to be considered as an out and out winger but take away those quality crosses andm see what happens to manure's overall scoring abilities.

Zenden has been providing exactly what we need interms of crosses into the box and also as important, he plays with full effort and commitment. Sometimes I wonder what else some people expect.
