Just read this story on lfc.tv from sky sports. I have never heard of this Zambrella lad, have any of you?

Premiership duo Liverpool and Chelsea have been alerted to the availability of highly-rated Swiss starlet Fabrizio Zambrella. The 18-year-old has turned down a new deal at Servette and could leave the club in the summer on a free transfer

The classy playmaker has attracted the interest of a host of clubs after a number of impressive performances for club and country.

Roma, Juventus and Paris Saint Germain have all been watching Zambrella and there is sure to be an almighty scrap for his signature if he becomes available on a free transfer.

PSG coach Vahid Halilhodzic watched the youngster in action over the weekend against Basel, but reports suggest he was there to cast an eye over former target Timothee Atouba.

The French side tried to sign the left back last season, but were scared off by Basel's asking price of 5 million.

Both sides are now thought to be reaching a compromise with a deal in the region of 3 million close to being agreed.

From reading that he sounds like a good player but not another left back whats riise going to think.
His FREE so sign him.

Yeah I have heard of him. If he's free sign him, he is a better player than Biscan and HE's in the starting team. Course he'll probably go to Chelsea or something

I also heard that report but honestly I am getting sick of signing all these young guys for the future when the team clearly needs a short term injection of experience and class right now.

we really need some players with experience right now, if we keep getting those young & untested players and wait for them to mature,it will take ages for us to be champion.
