Pizza Hut and Dr. Pepper are both local companies headquartered in the Dallas area. One "bad" thing about the stadium or at least in terms of FC Dallas the team that plays there is that it is owned by the city of frisco (suburb of dallas) and not by the team, they just lease the stadium from the city

well at least the under 19's are doing well , i want nemeth to be eased into the side slowly next season maybe against teams like bolton or relegation struggling teams , it would give him the first team experience that he needs , we got alot of talent in the reserves and youngsters and we need to start using them

I'd put the kids in right now. They can't do any worse than the current crop of so called quality first team players.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

ECCLESTON SHINES IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Steve Hunter 25 March 2008
Nathan Eccleston has given another example of his goalscoring prowess by hitting a hat-trick against Brazilian side Fluminese during the Under-18s Zayed tournament in Abu Dhabi.
Hughie McAuley's side have been in the Middle East over the past week for the competition, during which time they have taken on Brazilian side Fluminese, Spain's Atletico Madrid and local outfit Al Wahda.

The five team tournament has been a great experience for the Academy side, although results have been mixed for the youngsters.

England youth international Eccleston scored a memorable treble against the Brazilian outfit in the first game but it was to be a mere consolation in the end as Fluminese eventually won 4-3.

A goal from Adam Pepper helped the Reds record their only win in the tournament so far when they beat local side Al Wahda, but that success was quickly tempered by a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Athletico Madrid.

The Under-18s play Italian side Genova in their final game on Tuesday afternoon before flying back to England.

Academy Technical Manager Piet Hamberg told Liverpoolfc.tv: "The trip has been a fantastic experience for the youngsters.

"The facilities have been first class and we have been well looked after. We have given a very good account of ourselves in the tournament and it has been an honour for us to be over here.

"We played very well in the first game against Fluminese and we were 2-1 up at one stage before we eventually lost 4-3.

"We got our first win against Al Wahda when Adam Pepper scored but then it was disappointing to lose 5-0 to Atletico Madrid. We had a man sent off and their team were more experienced than us. They had players two years older than us and it makes a big difference at this level."

just watched the first half of the ressies vs. blackburn and we looked GREAT, slowed down the last 8 minutes or so but for LONG stretches we had them completely on the run. very crip nice passing, great vision, nice tight control, we look like a team that belongs at the top of the league. We are playing like Arsenal or Barca when they are on their game, it looks great. Pacheco, Nemeth Insua Spearing have a great sense of how each other play, and we would probably look even better with Plessis in the holding role instead of San Jose who is more of a CB (played a lot of holding midfield in Dallas though).  Darby looks good too. Want to see Bruna on in the 2nd half for el zhar or flynn

REDS HOPEFUL OF FULL HIGHDALE RECOVERY
Paul Eaton 07 April 2008
Liverpool are hopeful Sean Highdale will make a full recovery after the Academy youngster was involved in a horrific car accident earlier this morning.
"I saw Sean this morning and the good news is that he was responding on a small basis and able to say hello," said Academy manager John Owens.

"It was a horrific crash but his injuries are not life threatening. We are hopeful he will make a full recovery.

"Obviously our thoughts at this time are with Sean's family and friends because he is a very popular lad at the Academy.

"We would also like to extend our deepest sympathies to those who lost loved ones in the crash."

Liverpool Reserves are celebrating after a 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers saw them crowned Champions of the Barclays Premier Reserve League North at Christie Park.
Gary Ablett's side, who went into the clash needing two points to confirm their status as the league winners, clinched the title with two games to spare courtesy of Krisztian Nemeth's superb first-half strike.

It caps a remarkable season for the Reds coach and his team of youngsters, who will now be presented with the trophy following Thursday's match against Manchester City at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

On a night when the Reds knew victory would guarantee more silverware to add to the Dallas Cup won on their recent trip to the USA, they began brightly, and could have taken the lead after just eight minutes when the fledgling partnership of Krisztian Nemeth and Daniel Pacheco combined to create the first real opening of the game.

The Hungarian hot-shot turned his marker brilliantly before playing in the diminutive Spaniard, who drilled a shot from the right hand side of the penalty area just wide of the near post.

The visitors were playing the more purposeful football and seven minutes later they manufactured an even better opening with Nemeth once again the architect, this time playing Ryan Flynn through on goal with a delightful ball, but the midfielder somehow contrived to drill his low effort wide of goal from 10 yards out.

Blackburn were offering very little going forward and the Reds front two of Pacheco and Nemeth continued to cause problems with some clever interchanges before they inevitably combined to give the Reds the lead on 26 minutes.

Pacheco danced beyond the challenge of Keith Tracey on the half way line and launched an audacious 30-yard ball through to Nemeth who outfoxed the last defender in the penalty area before toe-poking his shot beyond Gunnar Nielsen to take his personal tally to eight goals in just nine reserve team appearances.

It was no more than Ablett's side deserved as they moved the ball about with the same confidence and quality that had seen them lose just one of their previous 15 Barclays Premier Reserve League North fixtures.

With the title within sight they continued to dominate the proceedings after the interval and they could have doubled their advantage on 56 minutes Pacheco fed Flynn just inside the area, but this time the Scottish youngster's low effort was well saved by Nielsen.

Jay Spearing then curled a left-wing free-kick just over the bar while substitute Andras Simon flashed a low ball across the face of the six yard box as Liverpool pressed to try and find the second goal their performance deserved.

It never arrived, but in truth it didn't matter. The match rarely lived up to expectations against a fifth placed Rovers side who had earned a goalless draw when the two teams met at the Halliwell Jones Stadium earlier in the season.

As the clock ticked down towards title glory the Reds were rarely troubled and they comfortably closed out the game against the home side, who offered very little going forward in a rather disappointing display.

Not that Ablett and co cared, as they eased their way through the final minutes of the contest to secure the championship ahead of what promises to be a party atmosphere at Thursday night's homecoming against Manchester City.

Blackburn Rovers Reserves: Nielsen, Nolan, Olsson, Hodge (Zenaba 88), Flynn, Winnard, Peter, O'Keefe, Marshall (Howarth 65), Clarke, Tracey. Unused subs: Bussman, Paterson, De Vita.

Liverpool Reserves: Martin, Darby, Insua, San Jose, Huth, Ayala (Plessis 77), El Zhar, Spearing, Pacheco (Bruna 59), Nemeth (Simon 77), Flynn. Unused subs: Gulacsi, Kelly.
Attendance:

Liverpoolfc.tv man of the match: Krisztian Nemeth. Revelled alongside his new strike partner and showed he can create chances just as well as he can take them with some delightful through balls. A typically lethal finish for his goal.
"Fernando Towers won't triumph in the premiership.
And you can quote me on that. " - Sabre 2007
Sorry Sabre, but when i see stuff like this i have to quote it :D

Damien deffinately ready for first team action and Christian Nemeth also seems to be top class. These two needs to be given chances in the first team at the end of this season if we have secured fourth place in the league.
