My all time great has got to be John Barnes, he had it all, and even thought he had to fight through the racism battle he still performed every game.

Kenny Dalglish? took the world by storm. Shame he was Scottish though. Would've been a great England player - shame.

For me John Barnes was the best footballer to ever put on a Liverpool top, and he wore it with pride

barne was phenomenal in his own way, especially during the late eighties. however in terms of achievements he can't compare to kenny.

We've had a number of greats , Rushie, Kenny ,Barnsie, Sean Dundee (honest)  oldies will say Billy Liddell. Gary Mac would have been right up there if he had played a few more seasons 4 us. My fav though has to be Barnes, you were on the edge of ur seat everytime he had the ball .
