You have to believe mate, if you dont believe anymore you may aswell pack it all in and go home, the day I stop believeing in LFC will be the day I die and not a day before.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

look at some of the players in those pictures and look at who we have now. we won the thing with traore, baros, dudek and smicer - the replacements we have for that lot are a class apart. if benitez is really capable of getting these players playing again and getting a bit of belief in themselves back we have to be able to progress in this competition.

Brilliant pictures Lynds, and one of those moments we'll all remember for the rest of our lives. It's a testimony to Rafa's brilliance in this competition that despite everything, most of us think we've got a good chance of beating the team which is running away with Serie A and which many people are calling the best football team in Europe. I've a feeling we might beat them at Home, and then it's game on.

Our lot should be pretty fresh anyhow :;):

No seriously, such has been the vitriol and the length of the arguments visa-vis the mananger, surely there is time for one last twist to the saga. Surely there is time for Rafa to rise like a pheonix from the ashes and to reload the rifles of his staunchest supporters. Jeez if we were to win the Champions League again the "pro's" would go into overdrive, rubbing all the anti's noses in it for years. Bring it on it'd certainly make the forum interesting. As long as we don't concede, any type of result would have them sh!tting themselves in the second leg. They got the shortest of short straws when they drew us, regardless of Barnsley, they know it and we know it and though it won't be easy, we definately have it in us to take em if it's our day.

I don't know if rotation works, but it seems rotation is fattening. Rafa should lose a couple of Kg. :D

Then again the fattening might not have something to do with rotation, and you should stop serving some of that delicious Scouser food.

Bloody Hell.. How much as Rafa aged....  He looks really young in those photos.  Pressure is doing him in!
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

No negativity from me, however I'd like you all to look up the meaning of the word "believe" (or "belief" if you prefer)

Tonight could well be make or break for the goateeeeeeeeeed one.......I jus wish we had his little pal Garcia alongside to help.

In all seriousness I doubt it'll be a shock to journos across the world if we shove it up the Italians tonite, but it might jus relax the team a little and encourage some better stuff til the end of the season should we do them over the two legs.

Come on, forget your differences, back the Reds and put both hands skywards for a miracle.

Viva la Rafalution
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

time to post again, i think this is our night, as a supporter i believe deeply that this is our night and indeed it will change the atmosphere at our club. Inter is having a great season, but tonight the phenomenon called LIVERPOOL will be felt not only at anfield but Liverpool, england, europe and the world. i believe tonight is going to be an initiation occassion for a lot of people, and it will only be the beginning. a solid performance tonight will unite in our belief that this is the best football club in the world, this night is not about bashing the manager, the owners, or the players but rather an occassion for celebration for our excellency in europe. the team needs to know tonight that we are firmly behind them, and indeed will rejoice with them after the final whistle.

some say weeping endures for the night but joy comes with the morning, and i believe tonight is our morning, and after the final whistle our journey to no 6 will be half done, and if we win tonight, i will encourage each fan to hold his/her head high and enjoy it, for indeed we have had a nightmare season.

Still, Liverpool the best football club ever!!!
