It's the bigmick show  I'm not getting involved in all the silliness going on on here. Some people are absolutely obsessed with talking about the previous manager. I've said it a hundred times and I'll keep saying it, I'm more interested in our new manager and whether he can improve on the 7th place in the league we are in on his taking over. Those who are interested in the previous manager can join the rest of us in watching how he gets on in Italy. A Liverpool FC forum though should be about our current manager IMHO.

You lot can give each other chinese burns and the shreddies till your hearts content, I'm talking about the here and now. While I'm doing it, I'm staying mildly optimistic. I know some think we'll sell all our best players and get relegated, but I think that's overly dramatic.

You keep saying your not interested in ex manager yet posting in a thread about him and an ex player and not just this thread !? As well as countless posts with references to ex manager and last season .

Pity you didn't do that for the last few years when you spent your time pulling the front off yourself over Mourinho while the club rotted from within because of two yanks...do you not want him now?

 Read what I've said continuously in this thread, it's a non story about two ex LFC employees. If some of you could get over your absolute obsession with the previous manager and sensibly discuss the current one, the debate would be infinately more interesting.

As for your next post, do your own research .

Grow up soft lad giving it the charlie big spud again on an internet forum FFS. What's got you all wound up this time, because I'm not getting involved in the debate about the previous manager? Like I said, you tear each other apart (and give it large with me if you like, brave lad) I aren't getting involved in it. The previous manager has left the club, therefore my interest in him has waned somewhat. Sorry if that winds you up, but tough sh!te either way.

If your not interested why keep posting in the thread then ?! Why not just stay out of it and ignore the thread ! Is it because you have to have a word , nope sorry that should say essay , about it all even though stating your not interested ?

As for research there is none to be done as no one has mentioned relegation because of manager - your just trying to headline and hyperbole things once again whe attaching your labels on posters

My first post in the thread, in it's entirity, here it was....

"Everyone will have their own take on it. Those who felt the previous management had lost elements of the dressing room will see it as proof, those who wouldn't hear a word against the previous management will now turn on Benayoun.

As a couple have said, it's unimportant now as we have a new manager. I actually agree with Benayoun in the sense it's an excellent appointment, and I'm very hopeful we will improve as a direct result of it."

Now I won't be seeking permission off of you or anyone else as to which subjects I choose to talk about, or indeed what I want to say. Only a page or two back I was getting accused of taking the thread over, along with another couple of people who to the best of my knowledge don't even post anymore. I think the thread is interesting not because of the subject at hand (I've already said it's a non story), but because of the way the same people react and post the same old nonsense over and over.

You don't like hearing it but I'll say it again. Get over your obsession with the previous manager, he's gone.

:) I opened a thread about Jose Mourinho in Premiership general discussion. That's what that particular part of the forum is for. (I'm guessing that's what you are referring to). You probably posted in it yourself nan a couple of times, it had some good debate in it. As I recall, the reason I started it was to have a wee look at Mourinho's record as so many people were adamant that it actually wasn't very good. I did a bit of research and laid it our for all to read, needless to say it was like a red rag to a bull to some people. I did put together a similar thread for the previous manager too, but that didn't get as many replies I don't think.

I would have had him as our manager all day long, as he's the best there is. I never thought it was overly likely to happen, just like I don't think it's overly likely that messi will sign for us either. I'd still have him though.

All that said, I'm very happy with the manager we've got.
