Everyone knows that to keep a title winning side winning you need to keep investing in talent. The fact that they have such an old squad with injury problems only further points to having to add to the squad. Just to further illustrate how moot your point is you and many others were previously banging on about how we had a top 4/title pushing side and all we needed was someone to 'steer the ship'. Now you all talk about how he needs to be given time to rebuild. He isn't rebuilding the club mate, he is tearing it down.

Sorry but has Fergie invested every single year, has he b0llocks, in any case Inter did buy some players and certainly didn't sell any, but he wanted to overhaul the entire treble winning side becuase apparently they weren't his kind of players, not enough Kuyt's and Lucas's I imagine.
When will people realise that he just isn't that good a manager, he is a fine coach but he simply has no idea how to deal with people. He must have got the shock of his life when he got fired, that is the funny bit when someone so deluded and arrogant gets egg on their face.
they can only speculate ,precisely the same posters who crank up give" Roy till the end of the season ,its only half way yet " give him money for his own players..... can now only make presumptions about Benitez's time in Italy based on what they think would have happened ,and that must be considerably galling for the "I TOLD YOU SO " crowd .... and now the man is back in his home
