As I said, early goal of the brazilians, 2-1 at the end. It's not going to be easy, but I think we'll win with no need of extra time.

Yeah.. go watch some Portuguese football (trying no to laugh too hard here)....
São Paulo played nearly all the championship with their reserves.... even in that way we were considered favourites at some point....

Gerrard is awesome... we would DEFINETLY play in any team of the world.... you can just trash the rest... along with that comic coach of yours....

But please... don't do this blasphemy... you've compared Gerrard with Ronaldinho, Zidane, MARADONNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't do that, please.. I've just lunched... I'm going to be sick!

If I've lost my nerves with some of the posts of some of the Benfica and Sao Paulo mates, it's because some of them seem only interested in posting their boasts, and the only thing that are willing to accept is praise and respect to their teams.

I think that if you post in a place, the least you can do is to pay some attention of what's being posted by other people, it's a basic of respect. And one person visiting this forum should be aware of the current death of Rafa's father. Disgusting.

If you score in the first minutes, São Paulo will be in panic for sure, since they know this conquest is kind of an obsession for São Paulo fans. I hope this will not happen.

My prediction: Liverpool 3-0 São Paulo until the second half. Then, what seemed to be impossible turned out to be real. Liverpool 3 x 3 São Paulo. Now, extratime! No one scores (remembering that there's no golden or silver goal). Then penalties, and SÃO PAULO WINS! LOL

Talking serious, São Paulo 2 x 1 Liverpool. However, what really scares me is that I'm feeling we'll have a draw.

Steven Gerrard would for sure play in ANY South American team. I agree with Sabre when he says that he is utter class. However, it's extremely difficul to be on Brazilian team. There are so many options that Brazilian team's coach tends to choose for those who have already played for Brazilian team.

ANALYSIS (MADE FOR ME), ABOUT THE MATCH ON SUNDAY:

Image

3-5-2

Rogério Ceni - 8.0

Fabão - 7.0
Lugano - 9.0
Edcarlos - 5.0

Cicinho - 9.0
Mineiro - 8.5
Josué - 7.5
Danilo - 6.5
Júnior - 8.0

Aloísio - 7.0
Amoroso - 9.5

AVERAGE: 7.72
*However, São Paulo's couch can change the formation from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 entering Souza to substitute Edcarlos. The average would increase, but São Paulo plays better in 3-5-2.

Image

4-4-2

Reina - 7.0

Finnan - 7.0
Hyypia - 7.0
Carregher - 8.0
Riise - 8.0

Xabi Alonso - 8.5
Sissoko - 7.5
Gerrard - 9.5
Luis Garcia - 9.0

Cissé - 9.0
Crouch - 7.0

AVERAGE: 7.95
*However, Morientes could substitute Cissé or Crouch. I think that in both situations the average would increase.

As you can see, it will be difficult for both teams. Cissé has said today that São Paulo is weak and that Liverpool will stroll around. He guessed that the score would be 5-0. I also guess that he will have a little surprise, because I'm sure he doesn't know São Paulo team (he may just have watched São Paulo x Al-Ittihad). You can trust on these number because I know quite well both teams.

Now, a joke:

Cissé before the match: "The score will be 5-0"
Cissé after the match: "Help, I need somebody, help", although he isn't English, the song is appropriate for Liverpool.

Alonso has a lower score than Garcia? What a joke.

That's just my opinion. I really didn't compared the players' scores. I gave them individually. However, maybe you're right. So, 9.0 to Alonso and 8.5 to Luis Garcia. Any better?

Sorry, but what is as cool as the previous one? And what's random as well?!

The criteria:
-Denfence
-Technique
-Wing play
-Long ball
-Stamina
-Drash
-Shoot accuracy

:D

In fact, it was just my opinion. You can make yours, but I don't think that anyone here knows each player of São Paulo, except a guy that was posting a few pages before. He seemed to know about São Paulo and Libertadores Cup.

That's why I didn't give an individual score to Sao Paulo players, if you see what I mean. I must admit something, right now, I can't wait to watch the game. :)

Random = Aleatory = lottery :D

you can not expect us to know all your players we only know the ones that have come to play in europe ,the coverage of brasilian footy is virtually none existant we only know european football , why would we take an intrest in footy that's played on the other side of the world when it has nothing to do with LFC, I don't know the players who play in africa or asia or south america only those one's that come and play in europe ,you must understand that, we don't expect you to name the full squad of bolton or man city so why should you expect us to knw about your players, any way we shall find out tomorrow and see if you post back and your friends witha little bit more RESPECT. I don't expect you to name the full squad of São Paulo. I know that although Brazilian team is admired all over the world, the Brazilian league has no relevance (except for Brazilians).

That's why I didn't give an individual score to Sao Paulo players, if you see what I mean. I must admit something, right now, I can't wait to watch the game. :)

You can be sure that most part of Brazilians will be supporting Liverpool tomorrow.
