This kind of thing happens often here on this site.

Before some team or another plays the great world renowned Liverpool Football Club, someone pays us a visit and talks about how they are going to do this or that or beat us or score against us or humiliate us.

Then what happens?

Inevitably their team falls to defeat and they are never seen again.

I GIVE MY WORD...I'll be here whatever happens in the game. Maybe the day after the game, because depending on the result, I'll be on the street celebrating or too sad with my PC turned off and the telephone disconnected.


And common guys, who disrespected you? PLEASE, quote the disrespectful messages. You've already made fun of proverty in South America, have said São Paulo is nothing and etc and no one here felt so disrespected as you are because of some silly images.

What do you want us to say? "Ooohh Liverpool...you're the best...you're the one...Ooooh Liverpool...São Paulo and any team in the World is nothing compared to Liverpool's glory...Oooh" Common you all, can't we even say that we think São Paulo will win the match?

Understand this, young man; how you have posted on here leaves much to be desired. We are not rivals, we have never played one another in our history. (I think).

Where's the arrogance from, when LFC are the Champions of the biggest club tournament in the world? Do you not realise that we faced the best teams in Europe, and won!?!
Sao Paulo may have done the same in South America, but only a fool would come on here and insist that they will conquer LFC. No-one truely knows who is the better side, and unless there is an aggregate of games against each other, it is likely we will never know.
Regardless of the result on Sunday, one game will not determine the superiority of either team, unless it is an obvious walkover. (Like vs Saprissa).

i think its coming from some of the benfica fans coming in, although havent been on to much this week. I dont think it was alot from you guys. Yourself have been one of the best outside supporter to come here

Once again, arrogant and cocky. Liverpool team of the 70's and '80's DOMINATED EUROPE. [We won the European Cup in 77,78,81 and 84]. We dominated Europe without a Brazilian, in fact our entire team was British for the most part.

Teams can play good football without Brazilians. Never heard of the likes of Van Basten have you?

Well I guess the Showboaters tend to do better then the so called teams... and we DO have teams.. 1970, 1982 and 2002 (as well as THIS SAO PAULO) proves this.... I agree that we don't have that kind of TEAM with Parreira's team, but anyway....
While your so-called teams always get hammered by the show boaters....

Geez, I don't know about anyone else but I'll be glad when Sunday has been run and won...and frankly, I don't give a flying who wins it. Christ even the bloody Japanese have been totally underwhelmed by it all if you go by the half filled stadiums (admittedly it's colder than a Nun's left tit out there) but the Japanese would fill a stadium to watch two snails race over 100 metres.

Liverpool's aim should be to win the friggin' thing without injury. If they don't well and good...it's back to the job at hand winning the European & domestic trophies (CL, EPL & F.A. Cup). That's the  REAL job at hand. This circus is just that...a fcuking circus. So win the damn thing, lets go home and then maybe these bloody Brasilian wanna bees will off and go back to taunting the Corinthian faithful or whatever else they do...
