Mate I have to be honest with you, Ive never heard of your club.

They are a great great side, and we will not have played against this style of football before. I dont know what the weather in Japan is like at this time of year, but i suspect it will be in their favour.

It will be a great triumph and a fantastic achievement if we beat them which should not be underestimated. You wont find a better side technically in the whole of europe, but i dont think they will cope well if we press the game and up the tempo.

I think we will win, but not at a canter like some here. This is a team that deserves respect.

How do you know São Paulo?

The weather in Japan is in favour of Liverpool. Brazil is a tropical country. It's not the case of Japan and England.

Its minus 6 in the night, it was 6 degrees when we played today so it probably favours us.

Liverpool fans Know about football - it is a football club with proper knowledgeable fans.

The climate in Japan during the last world cup was heavily biased towards the south american countries - in the England v Brazil match it was over 90 degrees. I understand it is winter in Japan and the temperature is similar to ours.

It will be an interesting mix of styles when we take on SP.  I must admit national teams aside I don't have much knowledge of the South American game.  I also think it will be a good test for Crouch, and Gerrard against a Brazilian defence, as I believe it could be a precurser for Germany next year.  Liverpool under Benitez are more than the sum of their parts, this will ultimately prevail against teams percived as more talented.  Also if the players at SP really are that good would they not already be playing in Europe ?

We have not let in a goal for 11 matches, against sides far better than yours.

Boa Falabella!
Let´s see who´s gonna win!
Mighty MO, we´re not so confident as you. You can see the "brazillian opinons" in this forum: "english soocer its the only one i respect", "Liverpool is a great team"...
We just know more about the Reds than you about TRICOLOR.
In any moment we said that we ARE 2005 World Champions, we ARE 1992 & 1993 World Champinos, and we WANT to be 2005 World Champions.
But your fellas said some stupid thinks about us, it´s not fair...
Sao PAulo is the best team in Brazil, 3 times Libertadores Champion, 2 times World champion, 3 times Brazillian Champion, 20 times Sao Paulo Champion, Recopa Sudamericana Champion, Sudamericana Supercopa Champion, Comenbol (Sudamercana) Champion, and so on. You MUST respect us as we respect you! Good Luck, and the better team will win (i hope it´s TRICOLOR!).

Yeah.. that was what Barcelona, Milan, River Plate (this year), Corinthians, etc all say... but they end up losing anyway.... you're team is good.. but if it played that final against AC Milan another ten times it would lose those 10 times......

You're defense men are NO match for Amoroso, seriously... Carragher is good and all, but Amoroso is god.

Besides, one of your team's physician (I think) said that they would "spare" the players... the players would not give 100% of themselves.... great for us, since this is the match of our lives... our team grows on decisions...

Milan's couch said in World Club Championship 1993/Toyota Cup: "We were defeated by the best team in the world".

Hope to hear the same thing from Rafa Benitez on Sunday morning.

Pleased with todays performance and result. Clean sheets are a bonus really, don't want to get caught all up in it as when we conced[it's going to happen at one point], I really don't want it to be a big fuss about it.

Winning is important, and Sao Paulo will test us on Sunday. Looking forward to it
