That's fine mate, the Bledisloe and Tri-Nations (Union and League) pretty much speaks for themselves; however I'm happy with the Chappell-Hadlee result.

Thing is, once they scored they shut up shop. Although we lost the game, for the last three-quarters of it we did nothing but attack. For those who don't think we've made progress, could you imagine a Houllier team going 1 down and making so many chances?

I think one thing that makes football so interesting to watch is that luck factor. When a ball hits the post, it can rebound in or out of the net. Today was all about borderline offsides, possible penalties, good save from the Gerrard free-kick.

We can definitely come home from this game with heads held high - and I think FIFA are going to be pleased with how seriously we took the competition, which won't do us any harm if we need help with world rankings of countries like Chile in future

Agreed. 9 out of 10 times we would have scored today. Luck has a big part to play in football.

AC Milan dominated us in the CL they where the better side but we won, it hurts imagine how they felt 3-0 up and cruising only for the trophey to be linched from them.

The facts remain that;

a). LFC were the better team, and the so-called "poor" finishing resulted in the ball being tucked away 3 times.

b). The Sao Paulo players would all rival Van Sh*tstilrooy for the gold medal for diving at the Olympics.

c). Lugiano (or whatever his label is) should have been sent off.

d). We should have had a penalty.

e.) The ref and his assistants were so one-sided they should have been wearing Sao Paulo shirts.

f). You are a tw*t.

Aussie Kopite: Why not Africa ref? it's even worse, as the ref in Africa are nobody, they are even more grateful to Blatter for being there.

I know this story. In last WC Blatter said is good Korea was in the semifinal, and we were robbed with an egyptian as a ref. Balls that didn't go out and they said throw in, disallowed goals, n off sides... the same story.

now Blatter decides Liverpool is not good for football, and his minions the refs, do what he wants.

Again, congratulations to the brazilians, it's not their fault.
