Truthfully i thought Luis Garcia was ONSIDE therefore sinama Pongolles goal should have counted. Disgraceful decision

Hey KiwiKopite, I think we might be confusing people with our nicknames.  :D

Maybe lol

Hey later on we'll start our own irrational trans-tasman rivalry.

ill win that hands down mate :p

That's fine mate, the Bledisloe and Tri-Nations (Union and League) pretty much speaks for themselves; however I'm happy with the Chappell-Hadlee result.  :D

He's from NZ

Unfortunatley, there's some (mainly Americans) who think that NZ is a part of Australia. Australia doesn't want New Zealand and New Zealand doesn't want a bar of Australia.

I hope that Rafa will learn from this game .... NO MORE 4-5-1 , lets play 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1

Yea we are more of a rugby nation. Hope you Aussies beat England in the next ashes. That has to be the first time i have wanted an Australian team to win something. Strange

Thing is, once they scored they shut up shop. Although we lost the game, for the last three-quarters of it we did nothing but attack. For those who don't think we've made progress, could you imagine a Houllier team going 1 down and making so many chances?

I think one thing that makes football so interesting to watch is that luck factor. When a ball hits the post, it can rebound in or out of the net. Today was all about borderline offsides, possible penalties, good save from the Gerrard free-kick.

We can definitely come home from this game with heads held high - and I think FIFA are going to be pleased with how seriously we took the competition, which won't do us any harm if we need help with world rankings of countries like Chile in future

Gerrard: "We are invincible. We are the best... we are blablabla"

You are a good team. I respect. But, don't underestimate us again! ;-)

Why on earth did rafa make significant changes to the side that won on Thursday.

No Crouch or riise ?  Kewell was bad he cant take players on very well..

Stats say it all, Liverpool 20 odd shots, Sau paulo 4 !

If you mis that many chances , you don't deserve a squirt of p*ss.

Gerrard and Morientes both missed easy sitters right in front of goal.

We didn't deserve it, you can't miss that many chances and say you were unlucky"!

Garcia was offside for the Pongolle goal, just.

Thats the last chance we will get a crack at that for at least another decade.
Shame it was a nice looking trophy

May I be frank?

You are a tw*t.
