Is that Harry Kewell's name in Portugese?

Not that it's of any relevance but I am sure Didi has signed a new contract as well.....

If we want Silva or Villa, we may have a good chance.

Valencia are only two points above the dropzone.

Wow really? Just 2 points? I knew they were going bad, but not THAT bad. We may be a really good shot

Would be fantastic if its true. Altho it would be dangerous. All our heads would be spinning after watching Torres and Henry go to work.

I've heard the Henry rumour too.

But I've also heard he wants to come back to London so that really leaves Chelsea as the only option.

Personally, I'd welcome Henry at LFC.

Would be stupid not to. Don't care what his age is. When he retires we just go straight back to the lone striker option with El Nino  :p

Henry doesn't like it in Barcelona because he's not the main man.  Same reason he wouldn't like it here.

He is also losing his pace at an alarming rate, probably his recent injuries taking their toll, and that would become even more apparent if he were to move back to the premiership where the game is played at a quicker pace.

He is still a quality player, but not for us I don't think.

i hope we have not resorted to the old spurs trick of linking ourselves to big names when really we have no intention of buying.bentley or barry would be nice...actually i'm lying bently would be nice .but i expect it will be barry because he lacks pace and rafa loves a slow midfielder.

lucas has to be up there with the slowest brazilian midfielders of all time.alonso lacks pace and is not liking the the speed of the prem much.until we buy fast players manure-nited will be hard to keep up with.their players are not going to get slower so its up to us to get faster.

Forgot to mention in the previous post, my mate who is an avid Arsenal fan, mentioned yesterday that Thierry Henry would like to come back to England but that the only club he would come to is Liverpool FC.

He was very serious about this.  He doesn't want to go to Chelsea because of the Arsenal Chelsea rivalry ............

What a combo if he was signed up by Rafa.

It's not pace that wins you games tho mate, it's team work.

As for Henry not being the main man, if that's the reason he's not liking it at Barca, then he wouldn't like it at Chelsea either. If he came back to England, he would only fit in back at Arsenal where they have no superstar strikers

It's not pace that wins you games it's teamwork?  Strange comment.

Obviously only good teams win the Premiership, therefore good teamwork is obviously a must, but name a team that has won the Premiership without pace in attacking positions?  There isn't one.

Trouble is that you somewhat contradict yourself.  If you're so stuck on 'teamwork' then why do you want Henry so badly?  Several Arsenal players have come out and said that not having Henry in the team constantly demanding the ball has improved how the team plays.

Guess I did contradict myself a bit..

But Henry in the team in my opinion can help the balance of it. Playing with two strikers, in my opinion, is a lot better than having a lone striker, even if that lone striker is Fernando. I think Henry would help Fernando become even better than he already is also.

Pace is a big factor, but team work is what wins you games, not pace

i say we poach ronaldinho from ac, cause clearly we are better than them :P, adriano from sau paulo cause, no matter wat people think he is still a brilliant player he may be of form but hes better than mr i play loads of games and work hard but never score goals kuyt, i know he is a good worker, but a striker is supposed to score friggin goals!!, as for who else kerlon from santos, amazing lil player, also rafael sobis because he is desperate to move away from real betis cause he believes he is suffering from the fernando torres syndrome!, saying in a mag a few weeks ago that he wants to play in the champions league but real betis aren't real contenders to gettin in the champs league, he has only got 2 years on his contract left......
