we are now in the last 16 of the champions league!  Im Still finding it hard to believe after the first half last night! :grinning:

this is so important. 

Gerrard will stay (untill the end of the season at least)

We can now bring in a few class players. (Anelka said this week he needs champions league football)

We have more money

We perform better over 2 legs and with some new players i think we could push for the last 8 or dare i say it last 4 :oops:

Realistically, we can't win the CL this year although it would be the most amazing achievement in the world. We can make it to the last eight but i have my doubts about the last four. Right now we have to bring in 1 or 2 quality players in Jan and make sure the lads are prepared for the Everton game as they are above us and our lads will be quite tired from the Greek game. Everton will be looking to pull a few strings and play like a quality side because we our their rivals.

or Porto winning European Cup last year...or South Korean and Turkey playing in World Cup semis. Yeah, that will never happen  :D
