Why didn`t we wear "the" badge?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Against T N S why, when we are one of only three teams to have won The European Cup FIVE times or more, didn`t we wear the "Badge Of Distinction"?
Especially as it was our first game back after winning it, AND also as it was actually in the competition we are defending.

We should wear it every time we play a game, of any status, anywhere in the world.

The only reason I could think of is that it has yet to be designed for our kit yet.

It's more dignified to let others blow your trumpet. I'm for not wearing the badge. If you've got something to shout about, it's classier to whisper it...

Winning the European champions title for 5 times in history is a fact that stays in everyone's heart, and it is not something to show off...

I would actually favour not wearing the new badge, after all everybody already knows we're the most successful english side in history.

an old Audi advert used to show Albert Einstein in an A6 with the caption "The more you know, the less you need to show"

Apparently we are not allowed to wear the UEFA badge of honour,in league games. Premier League rules only allow for the Premier League Emblem to be displayed on sleeves. Such a shame we wont be able to rub the league players up the wrong way by proudly dissplaying Numbero 5 :(

So are they going to be releasing a new kit and not keep the old one?

I have a couple of last year's (long sleeve) and they are sexy as hell. I guess I will pack them up for posterity if they are going to release new ones.

It will be awesome when we repeatedly kick Chelsea's as$ in the new kit. I am really looking forward to it........
Mourinho was customizing his flashy blue racing car -- applying the finishing touches of go-faster stripes, aerodynamic spoilers and a fat f@ck you exhaust -- while on his red car, Benitez was trying to glue together a broken chassis, repair bodywork and replace burst tyres.

There should be a seperate Euro kit this season, like the one we had a few years ago with the gold carlsberg and crest. Not sure if there keeping lastseasons hom kit though. Wouldnt mind as its quite nice.
