Benitez should get the money he deserves in the summer or atleast I hope he does.
Its no secret we need a right winger and a striker,gotta be joaquin right side as for striker would love to see owen.
Another thing does anyone think we should have a look at jason roberts cos i think he`s a class player,so strong on the ball,great pace,can score goals and creates a fair few whoever he plays against he gives them trouble.

Hmm..pple in this thread are talking about Owen, Joaquin, Aimar all in the same breath.

Did it not occur to you that if we could afford to buy them, we would have already done so this season? This is not Championship Manager. At most we could afford 1 star player (most likely to be Owen) and after that we would have already blown all our resources. Do you see Rafa getting 1 star player or 3 unpolished diamonds? I see the later option.

Anyway, I think Anelka (possible direct swop for Cisse if he agrees to move to Fenerbache) or 6m would be a good deal. A gamble on the attitude no doubt (not that Cisse's well behaved either), but a good chance on a good goals return.

Emerton from Blackburn is also decent.
