Well the games are coming thick and fast and we're still in it . How many games left now and what's are run in like compared to the mancs . OWZAT .

Our run in's are very similar Igor. The big test is obviously we have the Mancs away, and we both play Arsenal at home. Given the option I think I would just about pick the mancs run in.

Someone posted on another thread about the congestion of fixtures mannure will have.. almost 2 games a week... Hope the feckers collapse and drop points... Annoying thing is mannure tend to play even better when they are under pressure

In fairness they have a very good squad to pick from so it wont be that much of a problem

BTW I was checking last night and our run in is actually fairly good compared to Manure's, if we are still in touch with 4 games to go we'll have a really good chance I think.

Not quite true Baz I thought we were good enough to be in the running this season and the two previous to it. Once I'd seen how relatively weak the league was this season, I thought we had good chances to win it never mind challenge. The first time I was sure we wouldn't do it was when we took the point at arsenal rather than going for the win.

That said, I'm totally happy to be in the role of doomsayer proven wrong. Should we win it, it'll be the first time in my life I wished I was a contortionist so I could admisister the first well placed kick in the goolies to myself. As it is, the physics of the human anatomy will prevent me from doing it, so I hereby nominate that you should go first Baz. I can't think of anyone I'd rather have kick me in the b0ll0cks if we win the title .

I just think your negativity is premature Mick.The Mancs loose one week,we win we are a point ahead..OK they have the game in hand that everyone seems to think is a gimme,they win that and it becomes harder.
The bottom line is we probably need to beat them at OT and hope they slip up somewhere else!
Given that this has been a strange season in some ways
We have NOT lost to any of the "big four" (not like us)
And twice all the top 4 teams have drawn in the same matchweek(when it had'nt happened in 6000 years or somethin) makes it a pretty surreal season to me.ANYTHING is possible mate

Im not saying we will win it,because its out of our hands but its possible and with 13 games still to play its daft to conceed defeat,especially if you run your eye over the previous 25 and see what happens.Throw in the fact we have Torres back and our biggest problem was finishing teams off ..it kinda makes things look a bit better!

anything is possible but i think it will all boil don to the game agains them - we win that and hopefully the confidence will be high to help us push on and knock them right back .
