Ok, quite simple this one and it will no doubt start a few squabbles.

I am not going to give an opinion, although no doubt some will see my lack of comment as blaming it on rafa or kuyt, but to make it clear, I am offering no opinion on this whatsoever, I am more interested in seeing where the posters think the blame lies, or maybe they say there is no blame, just Utd are too good, no doubt the money spent argument will come up, buts let see if we can reach some consensus.


so the question, who or what is to blame for us not winning any trophies for the past three seasons.

Now there is opening a can of worms .

I Have always had three names in my mind about who could replace Rafa if he left

Lippi - but getting a bit old now but brings trophies
Cappello - won trophies where ever he has been
Hiddink - Has always been a quality manager.

As well as been very good managers (some of the best of the last ten years) they also act in a the correct way and would understand what it means to manage Liverpool .

But i would still want Rafa instead of any of those . For me he is still Number one choice .

Capello has won leagues in different countries and CL

Maureen, Ferguson, Capello, Hiddink would do better maybe.

BUT the way we played at the end of last season I have to say that I had zero criticism of Rafa but as soon as he starts making weird decisions which costs us matches next season the guns will come out again.

i think that the cream usually rises to the top after a few attempts
