Some members of this forum have joked about Parry not being around to blame him. Like many jokes, you read it here, you read it there, and you read it again the next week until it becomes spread and well known.

Mind you, they're right. We can't blame Parry of everything.

But that claim has the other side aswell: We can't blame Rafa of everything.

At the end of the day we blame people depending on who we like. But the fact is that we don't have enough information.

For instance. If Alonso leaves the club now, 20% of the price will go to his former club. But if Alonso leaves in July, that clause is expired and Liverpool doesn't have to pay anything to Alonso's former club.

Did you know that clause and it's expiring date (30 June)? No, no? well that's just one of the many things we don't know and that would explain why we don't hurry to sell one player. Often, behind decissions, there are good reasons we generally don't know as football fans we are.

I'm noy saying Alonso will go whatsoever, I'm just stating a fact about a clause that exists, and that has an end.

So yes, people who joked about blaming Parry have some truth, but the same people sometimes do the same thing blaming Rafa of everything.

Words that stick out - Alleged - ie pure press speculation . Policies - what policies are they ? the same ones that stopped torres etc arriving at the club ?

Rafa Benitez is probably working harder than anyone to secure signings for Liverpool but we aren't in a position to offer buckets of money...we have to hope that the players we want ,desire Champions League football, want to play in front of the most passionate of fans and to play with a squad of very talented players in the red shirt....and get paid a lot of money. Sadly some players prefer to sign for the money and if they end up at Hull on £300,000 a week they couldn't give a :censored:.

Good post,

An regarding the money, Tevez said that he wouldnt play for us because it would be an affront to the Manc fans an Fergie, with us being there rivals. HA so what are Man City, Its like Xabi turning down the mancs an going to play for the bitters,

Money :nod

Because a season with a title challenge is too looooooong without giving stick to Rafa. Remember Bavlondon that the manager received a lot of stick last summer, and only the very good results silenced that voices.

New season, new stick. That's why. An Anti Rafa is an anti Rafa.

It's ok though because you rafalites already have the excuses lined up for Rafa, last transfer season it was Parry to blame for forcing through the keane transfer apparently against the protests of Rafa (yeah right!), this season it's the owners, easy.

Maybe we should start laying into him for all the home points we are sure to drop against the newly promoted sides. Better yet who want's to get a Rafa out thread started nice and early?

FFS Where is the faith.

We don't deserve to win the :censored: league again with people like these ready to pounce at the slightest moment of discontent.

Fair point and I've said before that I'll wait till the end of the transfer period to pass judgement.
