Get rid.

Your only saying that 'cos you hope he goes to Sociadad  :D

No, we are chuffed with a left welsh winger that came from Crewe Alexandra (and is a Liverpool fan) we don't need a player who's injured, although, I wouldn't mind to see Kewell's wife in one of the town beaches, I'll grant you that  :D

Seriously, I don't think he'll go to a lower category team, he's a top division player (England, Spain, Italy) but not a top  team player, IMHO. Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, Newcastle  Villareal and the likes would be a proper target.

Couldn't be arsed to care whether or not he will perform or ever stay fit.

It's clear that he's a wasted talent now.

Kewell isn't far from the door I reckon but I'm not convinced Babel is the answer to our left wing problem, he seems more comfortable up front with his shooting boots on.  Reminds me of Thierry Henry at Juventus, played as a winger but never looked comfortable in that position.  Arsenal signed him and played him as a striker and boom, a star was born!

I'm sorry, but the opinion that Harry is happy to be injured is a f*cking insult to the lad.

Give your heads a shake. :no

Who would buy him though? Looking at the time hes had out I dont think there would be too many takers.

We would get nothing for him now as he can sign a pre- contract at Christmas, so we might as well try to get something out of him on the pitch. Hopefully he plays great all season, is happy and so is Rafa . Then at the end of the season we can decide whether he is good enough or not to risk another contract.

thats the problem ---> hopefully
its always a matter of hope when it comes to him
even if he plays great its no point of he decides to agree with another club in Christmas. he is actually playing for his career here and his future.
anyway, was Darren Anderton a bigger sicknote or Kewell?

I know he could do a Redknapp and sign a pre-contract but I don't honestly expect he will. I think he will want to stay at Liverpool if at all possible. No big club will go in for him, and theres no way he will get similar chances of honours and money elsewhere.

He owes Liverpool a lot and I think he will want to repay some of that.

I would think Harry runs Anderton pretty close by now.  :D

I've been wondering myself, since not much was mentioned when he got ANOTHER f*cking groin injury. I'm starting to think that's due to more than football. He's had so many ops on that area, that he should be called Harry Bobbit by now.

There has to be a line written under this issue. Once and for all. And im of the opinion that, even if Harry Kewell shines for this club again. He is never going to be that far from the next phase of treatment for yet another injury. Thus, another prolonging of the inevitable which is neither use nor ornament for either party.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for the unfortunate Aussie though for sure...but it leads straight out the door and away from all responsibilities tied to Liverpool FC.

Enough simply has to end up being, enough.

I think Darren Anderton better watch out because Harry certainly is out to steel his crown.I can understand that certain players have no control over their injuries but their is a sense with some players that they are only happy enough to go along with their injuries.

Take for example if it was Jamie carragher do you think if he would have had Harry's injuries do you think he would of been out for half the time?I dont think so.
In my eyes their is no future for Harry for us now.:)

Feckin' Waldo's easier to find than Kewell these days. :no  Thing is, he had me believing again after his performances in the 2006 run in but my patience is spent.  He'll leave on a free this summer, I reckon, and, while I hate to see a talent like that squandered, I'll be glad to have the Melwood Kewell Files closed for good.

I think we will have to agree to disagree and await events. If I was going to have a moan about Harry and his injuries, its that most people seem to recover slightly earlier than expected (in Carra and Cisse's case quite a bit earlier), but Harry always seems to take longer than expected. Is it lack of determination to get back or just he's a slow healer?

I think good tactically aware players like Harry can be, are very hard to come by and we have waited so long now we may as well see how things go before shutting the door on him. He may surprise everyone and have a few years injury free. ( ok I was joking with the last bit)
